I was about to pull the trigger on a Samsung Galaxy Tab P1000 - purely for its phone capabilites. Now I see that the 8.9 can make voice calls - great news.
One question, you mention that you loaded a third party dialling app - what is it??

Thank God. It can make phone calls! My heart was shattered when I knew it couldn't make phone calls. I started to look for alternate phone tablet. But now, YES! going to buy it, a definite yes!

This tabs had Micro SD Card slot.
I also saw the Keyboard dock and they told me it would be less than 80 US dollars. They had pouches and leather hard book covers. You can't go wrong buying this great and sexy tab!

This does have a normal sim card slot.
So does the... moreGr8!!! I was going to buy a xoom this week but thank god i didn't..The xoom2's photos has just been leaked..I would have suffered from a heart attack...
But one last question...Does it has a microSD slot in the pre-release version????

i will appreciate it so much if this galaxy 8.9 can make calls and send messages. I am intending to buy the 7inch version but some people call it an oversized phone as it still shares one and the same operating system with other android bid screen smart phones, hence i will be buying this 8.9 version if it can make calls. Moreso it has larger screen and it is a full tablet with honeycomb.
