i've had this phone for 3 weeks now and i have not noticed the yellow tint. I have tried to turn down the brightness and I still can't see any yellow tint. Might just be a glue issue that will dissappear the longer you use the phone.

No just laughing to see that the Nokia fanboys are getting more worked up than real Galaxy S2 users themselves.

"Samsung it self "argue" the displays has some calibration errors..."

Then tell me where does Samsung say that ? Do you have any links ? Bet not.

"Not was other than DISPLAYS an that's SAMSUNG FAIL QUALITY Gosh!!!"

Is that supposed to be English ? I have no idea what that means.

I don't know but, I looked at their little picture and nothing really seemed to stand out. And GSMarena did a full review of this thing and didn't notice it. I'm sorry, but this thing is still freakishly amazing, and still has an amazing screen. I think I'll take my chances on it.

it same issue of nokia n8 and nokia c7 and htc desire amoled gray and black color will become reddish tint, purple tint and untill now nokia not fixed this issue even has change new amoled screen it same result has reddish tint and purple tint,

and now galaxy s2 has yellow tint.

It means amoled. Super amoled plus not good as perfect screen, its better to buy smartphone with IPS LCD,SLCD,TFT with no issue 100% perfect than amoled defect,

u don't like samsung, don't buy from them and don't read their related news. u like apple, nokia, htc, se, moto or whatever so buy from ur favorite brand. And let the numbers & statistics decide which is better later. don't spend ur life trying to earn more samsung haters and try to stop it from being on the 2nd position.

I tested that webpage on my SGS2 and stared really hard but couldn't find any evidence of yellow tint or whatever defect is supposed to be on the lower part of the screen.

Maybe there is an issue with SOME SGS2's but I don't think it's with ALL of them.

Please stop the fudge -ve reporting!

I smell hate. I smell jealousy. I can see people finally found a point against the brand that makes their favorite brands look pathetic.
For people who r really scared to get that phone coz of that problem, I checked the phone and assure u it's HARDLY DISCOVERABLE. U'll never see in normal conditions.. and by all ways it's better than an LCD and other phone displays
