The average sales taxes in the US are way lower than the average VAT here in Europe. So European customers always get ripped off anyways. Nevertheless the devices of today are priced too high, better think twice to give these companies your money for pre orders.

And will still not sell well here in india. Last one is iPhone 4, which sold well here. They forget we're poor and there are more cheaper smartphones in the market present here now like Xiaomi.

Those conversions from Dollars are insulting to the rest of the world. Cheapest iPhone £699???

geo, 12 Sep 2017you apparently dont live in Europe...Well, when Brexit finally happens, hopefully I won't.

To all those complaining about the price Apple has set for the X, just take a look at any electronic goods.. the US always looks cheaper when doing conversions between the Euro/Pound vs US Dollar.

The iPhone ten is not worth that price tag at all, the same with the latest Samsung's.

Taking such a measure is not fair, rather discriminatory. But good Apple parishioners will prefer not to eat in a few months and buy anything they offer.

The Galaxy S8 retails for the equivalent of US$1199 here in South Africa and we are a 3rd world country. It's more expensive than 128 GB iPhone7.

                        S8 wait for me

Hahahaha.... iPhone X costs 999$ in the USA. That equals to 834€. In Spain the iPhone X will cost 1.159€.

1.159€ - 835€ = 324€ ... Why do Europeans have to pay so much more for the same phone?

My advice to European customers... Don't buy.
