Plus, they're basically making their customers as beta testers by making them use half-baked products like the iPhone X to test features like FaceID, then blaming them for defects in their products (like the "-gate" that happens with most new iPhones starting with the iPhone 4).

The name 10 instead of X. Do you think the number 10 strikes a perfect name for the iphone X? The number 10 iphone falls towards the iphone 7. Which is the tenth iphone. So if they name the iphone X with iphone 10. Wouldn't it cause confusion?
Big price. Yet you get full software support, optimization, and update. Android on the other hand are Cheap, less optimized, less software support and less update. Tell me, since apple has the most update. Where's the following on the android side:
1. Vulkan Optimized Apps?
2. 64 Bit OS and 64 Bit apps?
3. 3D force touch apps?

I want to download an HD movie from the internet, copy it into a micro SDcard, and view it on a smartphone, iPhone can't do this, but people still buy iPhones, just don't get it.

The big problem with apple new launching products.
1. Big mistake name with iphone 8 which you can name it just 7s/7splus
2. Name new iphone with x=10 why not just x.
3. Big over price in world low buying demand.(i do not know what in apple mind.
4. How many buyer you will demand in opening sale ?but in total sale maybe will high demands ( if economic global are good).

Just saw the gold iPhone 8 Plus today along with the Note8 and KeyOne. My favorite design actually was the KeyOne. Dark, glass rears feels like glossy plastic. Space gray iPhone 8 looks like a jet black iPhone 7. Feels tacky.
The creamy white rear of the gold 8+ wasn't much of smudge magnet though.If you do plan on getting the X and prefer to use no protection like me during sex, make sure to get the silver. Even a silver backed G6 is a smudge magnet. Black glass rear on iPhone 8 and Note8 really does feel tacky like the iPhone 3G/3Gs and Nexus S.
Cheap plastic feeling with darker glass. I will miss matte aluminum. White reared glass is the next best thing. Silver X is it. Ignore space gray.

figerprint, ips lcd (amoled screens burn in, specially for gamers n heavy users)
a11 bionic chip, 3gb ram n dual cam
I think we can let off the 'bezeless' display with no fingerprint and that face id that dint work in its demo and those animojis for another year until its design perfected in the next gen and even production is upto the mark in terms of supply

The iphone X was supposed to be iphone8. Apple marketing team wanted to price it higher, so they made a minor upgrade to iphone 7, called it iphone 8, priced it a bit above the iphone7. Finally, now they have a new product line called iphone X and priced at $1000... wow Apple.
The main purpose that we are seeing an iphone8 today is so Apple can price the iphoneX upped to $1000.

Most Americans upgrade every year because they sell last year's model or found a good deal for it (BOGO) and can make a decent profit to cover up the cost for this year's. It is a neverending cycle. There is even an iPhone forever plan for carriers. Trade-in the old iPhone to get the newer one. Every iPhone gets treated like yesterday's newspaper.
But I believe a crash is coming. It seems nobody buys second hand devices anymore. I decided to put up eight ads including Samsung and Apple on Craigslist and ZERO prospects after nearly a week. It seems like people already got what they need and stopped buying older devices.
Maybe a few years ago, it was easy to sell your old iPhone. Now you will be lucky if someone wants to buy your 5s if you sold it for $60. Don't be too surprised if the X doesn't sell as well or may the last to sell as well as the 6. People aren't stupid enough and perhaps this materialistic smartphone craze is finally coming to an end.
A new design or color option doesn't really change how you use it. Nobody really cares what phone you have except you. Many use multiple platforms to not care picking a side. It's just another device with slightly different UI scheme but essentially an app launcher. Overpriced, crippled desktop, DLSR, and gaming experience.

The iphone is the most worst phone ever produced in the past or now or in future. A common user cant do anything, so many restrictions concerning fil management, music, sharing, downloading, they want money, money and money. No matter iphone 1,2,3 or 10,or 1000, it will be most user unfriendly phone. a simple android or windows or symbian or feature phone is way better than apple iphone. Hey common user please don't waste your hard earned precious money on this. I have committed a mistake, I regret it.
