Google Pixel 2 specs leak

Apple took away the headphone jack, guess what Google will remove?

Unlimited storage until 2023? I still got time to store all my movies before Google will monetize Google Photos like they did to YouTube.

Rocking only a 32gb iPhone SE and Google Pixel on unlimited data plans. Google Photos has been the answer to never needing to buy another microSD card. Only my songs and apps are on my phone. No photo albums and videos. Remember it, 2023. You got less than 6 years to enjoy unlimited cloud storage.

AnonD-642976, 28 Sep 2017OK - now i got you. sure, i am with you - a lack of func... moreThat's the thing, i don't think any flagship is worth buying. They are just overprised fashion toys. Even the non-removable battery is enough of an argument against the expensive phones.
I'm boycotting their evil policies by using cheap smartphones. Currently my phone at least has 2 sim slots and an sd slot. And a 3.5mm jack.

eSim looks good for future proof and has benefits though but no head phone jack and the design looks so ugly. Very meh phones for that price.....

sure, i am with you - a lack of funcionality is always a problem. but i think that there can't be a perfect phone in a not so perfect world. because with 7 billion people you will have 7 billion opinios on this. but i don't want to become to philosofical ^^

i thougt that the Mi6 is a pretty good compromise when it comes to a price performace ratio.

but would you share your thoughts with me which flagship phone you think has the best price performance ratio?

$1k? What are you guys talking about? There's no suggested price for that yet...

The world but USA is not ready for eSIM. I guess the Pixel 2 is not for self-loathing travellers (People I Hate by Papa Franku).

I hope its not the final look, we want something new !

Well,Google with all the budget you have you came up with that iPixel 2?
Apart from very good camera, what do you offer customers for nearly $1k?
As people mentioning on forums, incl,GSMA,list of things that are missing on your new flagship is quite long..and you decide to repack U11 but in much uglier packaging...
And with zillions of $ invested in design, even 10yrs old Xperia designs look interesting...
Guess it would be much cheaper and way more productive to hire proper pro-designer..
                        Maybe Mr.P.Starck could help,ask Xiaomi...

How do you change carriers is esim? And that xl looks great

No headphone jack (still don't know the reason to remove it, Apple at least had Beats headphones to sell), No dual cam setup, agreed their single cam did good job last year but, this year almost everyone is on Dual cam setup bandwagon for their flagships. On top of that they do not provide SD slot, Trying to copy apple for a wrong thing. 1080P screen on android flagship is now getting old. Lot of manufacturers have moved to higher Resolutions on their flagships. There was a golden time of Nexus 4 and Nexus 5 when Google provided arguably best bang for buck(Nexus 4 had a bad camera but at least the rest of the phone was best in terms of hardware and software that year) now they are just obnoxious with pricing. Sammy and LG providing IP68 with a headphone jack. Google still stuck with IP67.

Ok, what are we looking at? No headphone jack, bum SIM card, 5 inch phone with huge bezels(probably to save costs reuse pixel back and all that), and the build which is half glass half chew toy.

So, I like the stereo speakers, but that is the only pro. The new front glass design is bold and indicative of HTC. Take note of the somewhat large front-facing camera hole; perhaps a wide-angle lens with a large aperture?

I enjoyed the look of the first Pixel phone, as it looked very conventional. The new styling of the Pixel 2 is the least of what is wrong with the phone.

the iphone 8 or X? the note 8? the S8? the V30? these phones cost a very high price. but the size is to big, or you have no dual cam, or no dual SIM. or, if this is true, you have to deal with eSIM in the pixel.
