Are you kidding me? The Korean blew it this year. They go for all time lows in total sales you think *now* is the time to buy Korean?
In fact apart from HTC and Apple everybody else took a big phat step back this year. Literally most of every new flagship is worse than last year's (similar performance and camera, worse camera and aspect ratio, less wide screen despite the phone being bigger etc...)

What is the point in dropping absolutely functioning features that are highly popular? Is there REALLY a demand for phones without headphone jacks or without slots?
Negative turns in my opinion. Unfortunate.

Google Has just shot it self in the foot & reduced sales by hundreds of thousands, 2,700mAh battery is pathetic for a flagship in 2017 needs minimum 3,000mAh battery but really should be 3,200mAh battery

I've been itching for a new phone, but with crappy battery sizes, no headphone jack, no microSD slot, NOW with no SIM card, what the hell.? Taking away functions, yet pay MORE for the phone.? Sounds like an Apple iPhone.? Getting more & more useless! Guess I'll have to wait a bit longer & see what happens in 2018.!! Sorry Google, you had your chance!!

Oh wait she didn't that is why S6 sales were a farcry to s4's ... what happens/happened instead is that Samsung listens to Samsung and hopes the consumer will follow.
I don't think any company actually listens to the consumer. For example Apple famously doesn't do so...

Just a thought:
If they add speakers at both ends, I hope they will add a strategically placed mic as well (Modern phones got multiple mics anyway to do noise cancelling)
This way there would be no need for an up/down of the device...

Boycott this piece of sh**. Let the companies that ditch the 3.5 mm headphone jack know it's importance. Bluetooth headphones can never match the sound quality of wired headphones
