Again, every parameter speaks for it. The larger size CPU, the much faster benchmark and the more demanding the a real application is the larger the lead for iPhone is (look at image, video editing for example, the gap is huge).
But its not all down to the CPU. Apple have clearly messed up somewhere since the iPhone 7 is still faster than iPhone 8 in some test.
Is it some hardware bottleneck or a software thing? We have to wait and see.

Underwhelming release......No innovation, same design and barely has anything new to talk about. Fast charge, wireless charging, louder speakers, glass back (that scratches easily) and face recognition....ridiculous!!!!! Most people waiting for the X and the main talking point for that device is the fact that it has a Samsung screen.
I'll stick to android devices and the sheep I'm sure will continue to follow the trend.

Last ... moreevery smartphones has its own pros and cons so don't think that your phones right now is the best of all because its not. there are those companies that you can tell that they innovate not copying from other companies. for me this two brands has innovation but its all desame after all. other brands are the top innovator but the apple fans and samsung fans are still stock with them. dont see other phones innovation, even this phones are the ones first in it after this two brands applied in their phone.

And you guys sayin it's not optimised meh, So think of how Android devices handled non optimised software so well so far these years :) And even if A11 optimised for software "Worlds fastest chip A11 still be Defeated by Worlds first 7nm SD EXYNOS powerful upcoming Chipset".

Please read my whole comments, a true story, I've passed my whole life by hating iphone, I think because of those stupid people who buy iphone just to show off and they had created hate in me and I always made fun of iphone user and always prefer android because of downloading movies using file manager and usb drive for memory cards etc, but for the first time I have been using an iPhone 6s plus since the last 3 months and now I come to know that what actually iphone is! its amazing and super in it's own way! My eyes are habitual to amoled display, before buying an iPhone I was afraid of lcd display because I can't compromise with the display even I bought a LG super UHD 55" but I had to sell it after 1 month, the reason was I hated the display and after some months I have bought an oled tv that is really amazing! unfortunately my eyes can't like an lcd display but iphone has won me over because of it's speed it's smoothness gaming on iphone is completely another story than on android it's graphics the 3d touch etc and now there is an iPhone X with oled display just imagine how much beautiful it will be! unfortunately there are many people who hates iphone without using it, I had to do a research that why ios is superb like this! after doing some research on internet I found that the programming language on which ios is based is called C language and now they have introduced a swift language these are the fastest languages and this is the core reason that's why ios is the amazing, I'm still using an android phone too because of downloading movies and using my usb key and mainly for recording phone calls I have to insert sim in my android phone and then reinsert in iphone.

Note 8 win...and can turn on only 4 cores simultaneously. Meanwhile iPhone 8 can turn on 6 cores simultaneously. ..and cant beat Note 8...

I'm a Samsung fan but really who cares... No one opens multiple apps in quick succession.
All high end phones are good nowadays.

Obvioulsy double amount of ram is key factor, but a11 does not have any competition at all, it just destroys 835
