Who cares if they had grand launches and were hyping it on social media? What matters is, we normal people silently ignored it.

GSMArena, Huawei did NOT silently launch the Nova 2i. The news is everywhere! This wasn't a surprise in Malaysia. It was in their facebook webpage actively promoting this product prior launch. You are just too slow.

Double knuckle to take a screenshot?
Huawei just wants their customers break their phones. Imagine Manny Pacquiao doing this thing........

I guess when the screens of these phones break, they assume that people would bring their cracked screen phones to them to get replaced, and be asked to pay them 40% of the price of the phone for the replacement that will exhibit the same problem again in a few months. Nice way of marketing.

.alpha, 29 Sep 2017Do those knuckle tapping even work? Those phones always see... moreI used the honor 7 but it only has the double knock gesture back then but it works perfectly most of the time. You just have to get used with how strong you have to knock it though

                  Enjoy your bloated, crappy UI.

                  ENJOY IT

I think even the honor 7x would only be a reincarnation of this!

AnonD-1385, 29 Sep 2017I have experience with a few Huawei phones. The gesture... moreWorks fine on the P8 and faster/more convenient than using buttons. Its one of the most used features in Huawei phones. I don't think you've ever owned one.

The gestures work...though not as easy as you may like for some models. For instance, double knocking to do a screenshot worked much easier on the P8 than the Mate 8. The screen recording was easier than the screenshot on the Mate 8. The hardest of all the gestures is the scrolling screenshot. Other than the screenshot knuckle feature on the P8, the majority of these gestures is a hit and miss. My only complaint with using your knuckles is that sometimes your knuckles end up hurting you. For the most part you are better off doing the power button+volume button combination if you want a screenshot on any of these Huawei phones.
