Pixel series this year has been really disappointing. I never used the first generation though.
I hope that lack of 3.5mm headphone jack is not the future of all flagships. But if that is the case, I am truly glad that mid-range phones are becoming better. Of course, if all OEMs decide to use usb-c for headphones then its fine.
Question is now, who will drop the jack first, Samsung, LG, or Sony.

Is this a click bait story? The Pixel 2 XL is not due to be released until mid November so if you pre-order now, yes, your wait time will be 5 to 6 weeks! Not really interested in the Pixel 2.

Anyone know if there are different hardware versions for pixel 2 for EU and US as with all previous versions or google finally made one full spec phone covering all bands, can't find any good info about or what bands are supported on US phone., Basically trying to find out if US version will work fine in UE with their bands.

I don't mind the wait. Is fine. However, for me it will be pixel or Nokia 9. I was stunned by watched Google launch yesterday. Their phones, direction, AI direction, camera etc is awesome.

Their known for quality, innovation and the U11 is very different from most. I'm still using their beautiful One A9. Gorgeous reliable unit. Marriage with Google will bring stellar results ultimately I think.

How many hours, days, months you will feel the same ?? Or let me put it other way around, How many days there will be same look & feel or support level. Hike price and say 3 yrs support including, what was my mistake to get 2 years OS upgrade when I purchased Pixel for the first time. Now increase $150 and promise 3 years OS upgrade is an absolute joke. SUp

December 2013 dollar to euros exchange was 1euro = 1.38 dollar.
Making the calculations my nexus 5 in 2014 509 euros converting it is 702.42 dollars.
Because of the import tax and govermental IVA tax.
So i payed more than double the price.
Never again, The reason i bought the onelpus 5 it's because there was a warehouse in EU. So no inport tax. i just payed 499 euros + 10e fast shipping and tracking
I still find i payed way too expensive for the Nexus 5 and i won't make the same mistake again.

Those who haven't used a Pixel, should keep their mouth shut. Software experience is unmatched, great camera is just additional, and this has like stereo speakers and IP67 as bonus.

I don't understand: in Germany/EU, the Samsung Galaxy S8+ costs 650 EUR, while the Pixel XL 2 costs 800 EUR. Who in their right mind would get the Pixel XL 2 ?

1. Pixel -2 -> Go to HTC service center
2. Pixel 2 XL -> Go to LG service center..
what a ridiculous situation if you run into bad luck with hardware.
$599 -> Pixel 2
$799 -> Pixel 2 XL
were the right prices, but now its annoying with + $200 without any genuine reason.
Would better buy a Iphone for their loyalty and support.

This is disgusting, who is waiting for a month or two just for a phone ? Its not a gadget of the year.. my current phone is troubling like hell, and PIXEL with mountain prices and that too late by two months is ridiculous.. No stock or not manufactured in advance ? Paying your EU fines by hiking price is such a disappointment, was thinking Pixel-2 would be reasonable, but wait I can get a iPhone-8 in the cost of Pixel-2 (64gb). Enough is enough google !!

black and white pixel xl 2 is available in play store uk , but shipment date is from december 26- december 28. this is ridiculous. Can't wait that long for the color. so I have to buy black one. which will dispatch after one month (nov 17). I really wanted black and white. Availability in stock is the biggest issue with Google. lots of people who are waiting for pixel 2 or pixel 2 xl will move to other phone if they have to wait so long...
