Qualcomm sues Apple in China aiming to ban iPhone production and sales

    I dont like the ban blanket in most industries, since it paves the way for one conglomerate or consortium to monopolize the market. Monopolies create high prices and lower quality products, in lieu of competition to compete against. And at the end of the day, the consumer is the biggest loser while the big companies laugh all the way to the bank.

    In this case the whole matter got a deep, ripe stink because Apple wanted its own micro-ecosystem without competition so that it can charge astronomical prices for devices without any competitor to take a bite of that profit pie. Ironically, now that price hike trend has spilled over to non Apple device streams. And the biggest joke is that they are now facing heat in their own ecosystem where they are king of the castle.

    I'm on neither side here since both companies profit from morally grey areas of legality and this lawsuits have become pass-time sports among the big dogs. But Apple deserves a lot of flack coming its way since what goes around comes around.

        So Qualcomm really wants that thousands of workers lose their job from one to the other day? They are a really horrible company, but sadly, apart from their rebranded exynos chips, makers don't have a real choice for a chipset, and nobody wants mediocretech.

                Apple have lawyers who would gone over the contract with a fine tooth comb

                App iPhones are getting more expensive so despite the iPhone X being a bezel less iPhone 8+ 97% the same specs 3 different phones, the same Qualcomm feature in each, the iPhone X costs the most for Apple

                Assuming Apple get this concession, then Qualcomm, then all other companies would expect the same

                    Apple is known for improving a technology and branding it as their invention. Lately apple has not done anything new that has not existed before. They are simply making ideas and inventions better. BUT THE QUESTION IS have they improved and modified them enough??? Because they need to be helluva helluva different from the originals to make them "Apples inventions". ( Force touch vs 3D touch) ( Face time vs Video calling)....

                      Is this how Qualcomm will stop Apple? This will most likely end in a settlement. If not, make sure Foxconn and Apple go bankrupt.
