And then apple will say,"this is more advance technology than the others". People that lack of knowledge about tech will blindly believe that. So this is how apple making profits. Apple, samsung & QC spent more times on court rather than lab invent something new.
Remember Google buy Motorola for patents, it means motorola has heaps and almost never in court just benefit the lawers

There is two ways of interpreting the policy of Qualcomm. One is, they are crazy to charge different prices for the same product. I mean, modems are the same in a 100$ phone vs. a 1000$ phone, so why would the price have 10-fold difference?
Another way to think is, this policy actually only affects the pricey phones e.g. iPhones. So, QC is actually helping consumers by somewhat influencing/restricting the price of phones. I think low-end phone manufacturers are actually happy with QC policy, while premium manufacturers are seriously pissed.
I, for one, don't care for these premium manufacturers making more profit. I mean, Apple had to pay like 10$ for the modem which is actually 30$ per QC policy, and yet they won't do it and wants to pay only 4$. So, I am with QC in this one (but the policy is bonkers, and will not hold in court of law).

i think someone is laughting loud at Intel's buildings right now! Because i think if apple and Qualcomm open war, they are open a brand new road to Intel to take ahead with brands.
Because Asus and others will go with Intel if this hurt Qualcomm (wish i hope it dont), i want to see apple fall down from the sky and get straight in the f*king Space Neddle Building on theyr a*s.
