Dreadmaw, 14 Oct 2017Prepare to be roasted. You entire argument is bases due... moreWrong. How on earth did you come up with those naff opinions. Apple have had no innovation or tbf development since the original iPhone. I work in tech I know my parts and cannot be bothered to argue fully with a idiot.......however how are Androids copying Apples screens? None of the tech in a iPhone ever actually belonged to apple. They are the kings of the copy cats. Just do some research before slating others.

Anonymous, 14 Oct 2017Seems like all the fandroids sh*tting at Apple overheard my... more"So Qualcomm really wants that thousands of workers lose their job from one to the other day?"

          Short answer:No

This is a strategy to put Apple on pressure(draging them trough courts anywhere they can),bully them and treating them... so Apple continue paying the "expensive" royalties.
Is this a good thing? Clearly no,its almost extortion. But I do not feel sorrow for Apple as this is exactly what Apple was doing trough the years and against smaller companies. Now they themselfs are on the reciving end of the stick...
P.S. and this comes from an avid Apple user who just came up to be a ordinary human being, who wants a little bit of Justise in this world.

Dreadmaw, 14 Oct 2017Prepare to be roasted. You entire argument is bases due... moreYes.. The facts clearly point that Apple use 16:9 display first and then Android follows.. Now Apple starts using 18:9 display first and then Android follows.. Apple also starts using Amoled first and then Android follows.... WAIT, from which parallel dimension did you come from again?

Seems like all the fandroids sh*tting at Apple overheard my comment, so listen carefully

So Qualcomm really wants that thousands of workers lose their job from one to the other day? They are a really horrible company, but sadly, apart from their rebranded exynos chips, makers don't have a real choice for a chipset, and nobody wants mediocretech.

You entire argument is bases due to the fact Android was going nowhere until the release of the first Iphone and they have copied the technology ever since. Even the displays nowadays are similar to apples. This is fact.

Apple is now using other companies for parts, yes. Why? It creates more business for the other companies who focus on different parts. What's ironic is your argument falls through when you look at Sony not using their specialty camera on their own phones(With the exception of the XZ premium). Same goes for Samsung who have only just released the Note 8(Which by the way has been completely overshadowed by the IPhone X). Learn your 'Facts' buddy or don't post at all.

Anonymous, 14 Oct 2017Ahhh Apple ... When will you stop copying others????This is silly, Everyone copies each other. Qualcomm will lose this lawsuit and it's as as simple as that.

They tried to ban the IPhone sales in the US, which failed. They're just trying to grab a slice of cash and it will backfire. This is due to the undeniable fact that apple makes a whole lot of business for China and to cancel that would ruin not only Apples business, but Chinas total revenue which China isn't prepared to do.

P.S. I tried playing some mobile games in the past, I even bought at that time a very expensive phone for it. Games for my old PS Vita and games for my new Nintendo Switch are years ahead of anything in the mobile game industry. And I don't even want to mention my Desktop PC gaming, I don't want to make a fool out of you..

AnonD-397942, 14 Oct 2017Yah of course. Most components in their iphones from samsun... moreDude importing tech from others doesnÂ’t make things better. The software optimisation, tight coupling and how to use a component with itÂ’s full potential using the greatest software makes it better. Why Sony themselves fail to give great cameras in their own Xperia lineup? If the sensors are same then why is there a difference in image quality of Samsung, Sony, Apple etc ? As per your statements there is no role of hp, dell, Microsoft surface as every part in their laptops are from different brands like intel, amd, tsmc etc.
Qualcomm is bitch, Apple doesnÂ’t use their chipset and has hell lot better performance with A11 compared to their SD835. Most android users have lots of time to comment on Apple related any article. Among Apple users there are least possible people who does that. Usually I don’t see any iDevice user on android articles but reverse is there in more than 95% cases. Mind you own business and let people decide themselves where they want to spend their money.
You are no one to certify who knows tech and who doesnÂ’t.

                                        Ban Apple salesin China? Nahh!
For sure the judges in trial courts are using iPhones.
And chinese government earns so much from apple.
