Foldable ZTE Axon M is official with dual touchscreens

When you unfold it, you get a 6.75" viewing area, although the hinge separating the screens and the bezels don't help create a very seamless look.

nice to see someone trying something different once more but cant see this being much of a success. Now if it was thinner and didnt have the hinge in the way of the screen it would be interesting.

The chipset and RAM on this phone worries me a bit. If this phone is supposed to have the ability to multi-task to the point that one of the key features of the device is to have 2 apps open at once on each screen, then the phone is going to need more than 4gb of RAM to be able to do this efficiently in the long run. Also, while the 821 is a good chipset, wouldn't it make more sense to go with the more current 835 if it's supposed to process information from 2 screens at once? I don't need a Magic 8 Ball to foresee issues with this phone in the future... if you're gonna make a unique phone, the least you can do is add hardware that supports the features you're trying to emphasize ZTE...

XxoxX, 17 Oct 2017but look men, we are in a time when 16:9 and 18:9 dominate ... moreAt least this will be a good split screen device to properly run two apps at same time.

This is what I love, pulling something very different out of the sleeves. The Kyocera with same kind of form factor wasn't very popular and this probably also won't be, but ZTE just pulls it off, great thing to do. Try something else, so did ZTE. Great job.

XxoxX, 17 Oct 2017when unfolded they are in 4:3 ratio...and then 16:9 videos... moreWell, looking at the insane asking price tag (over US$700), this device will certainly be a flop.

BUT, Dual screen phones actually can do better, example:
            - Dual multitask in Full screen,
            - 5.2" keyboard on one side of the display, which makes this devices as productive as the old Communicator from certain ZOMBIE brand.
            and some more.

IF ONLY ZTE priced it as much as "flagship-killer" devices (Mi6, OP5), this will certainly sold, even better than KeyONE (like I said before, people are getting bored & annoyed with the slab aka "no keyboard", so a 5.2" display which can act as a keyboard is big enough for almost every human fingers alive today)

Why the hate? People like you are the reason why phone design feels stagnated, even with a fresh coat of paint colored "2:1" and "bezelless".

Sure the Kyocera Echo and Sony Tablet P tried and failed and now that we have a powerful processor, I'm sure it'll succeed.

i dont want to carry a phone with a 4:3 ratio and see youtube videos in 16:9 in full screen and it will be equivalent of the size of a 4,3 inch phone the area where the video will take space and the other space will be black. NOOO! NO MEN, we are in 2017 not in 2007.

XxoxX, 17 Oct 2017when unfolded they are in 4:3 ratio...and then 16:9 videos... moreThis is actually a pretty good device and for being the first generation I can only imagine what the second version of this device will look like.

4.3 is not all that bad keep in mind that Apple and others did it for a long time on there tablets.

Quite useless and pointless, this one!

when unfolded they are in 4:3 ratio...and then 16:9 videos are cutted or decreased in size and big black bezzels will show!

no, this phone is a flop, didnt worth nothing. Flossy Carter already do a hands on on this and what i see is a Sony P revival, bezel between those screens are ugly!!!

ZTE are doing nothing new, just a try, this wont be a sucess...and i think it wont sell even 10.
