640xl was the first to get Windows 10 as announced by MS, now after reconfirming, it has backed off officially. I think what has happened to them in mobiles, ought to happen.

They have the UI figured out, they just have to rewrite it in another language, which is open source so they won't pay royalties. The MS Launcher is a good idea, but c'mon, it's nothing as good as the Start screen in the Windows Mobile OS.

Vegetaholic, 18 Oct 2017No wonder ancient phones with measly 1gb and slouch sd 400Sorry but android oreo phones from Nokia these days with Nokia 2 that has that SD400 and 1GB ram can run latest android no problems why should 1GB stop windows updates on phones ? It's only OS that needs update as there is no apps for windows that need more of hardware then 1GB ram.

                                      And about topic.

I change to android last week and just when I wanted to copy all the contacts on my sim card the phone started to update. Deem how I hated these windows updates or when you did factory reset and then needed to do 6+ hours of updates as one takes like at least hour on my Lumia 830. Just dumb system as at first you need to do win 8 to win 8.1 update and in there few of these updates. Then get the windows 10 program that first looking is your device up for it and then 2-3 updates on that 10 to. Why cant they just make one update to the latest update and that's it. whats the point of updating 6 old version before you get the latest. Why cant they make the update to be one with all the bugs fixed from these earlier updates is beyond me. Basically if you need factory reset then you cant use your phone for full day cause that's how long the device is updating it's self.

No wonder ancient phones with measly 1gb and slouch sd 400
