US launch price for U11 was $649, and there was $50 promo code to make that $599.
Accounting for the screen and battery upgrades, I hope HTC are gonna prize this Plus version not higher than $699, coupled with similar promo.

QHD for giant flagships for straight 3 years. Good job, companies; bravo.

Why have a resolution higher than 1080p but not exactly reaching 4K? Like, come on, I wanna watch 4K videos from YouTube on my smartphone, and I should be getting it from devices with price $700 and above, heck even $650.
Sony has shown us how to make a stunning 4K HDR display device with fantastic battery life, so there's no excuse for other manufacturers to do the same.
Oh, and AMOLEDs are more efficient too, right? So why not take advantage of it to go 4K and be more battery friendly than a 4K HDR IPS LCD?

Everyone's saying that Sony is so far behind in technology, while typing it on their soon-to-be-oudated QHD displays on their giant flagships.

To sum my comment up, skip this nonsense 2K and just go all 4K all the way. No ever content is really made in that resolution, and 4K contents are more abundant than them.

all I want to see on the 2nd from this phone is if they bring back front-facing speakers, seeing that the pixel2 XL has it. other than that I'm comfortable with my U Ultra.

Many headphones in the range of 100-150$ sound way better than even a 200$ wireless headsets. Apart from sounding better they can save your phone's battery life. You have to shell approx 300-400$ for wireless headsets which sound as same as a 100-200$ wired headphone. Just that your favourite brand removed the jack doesnt make quality of wireless headphones' quality extraordinary overnight.

AnonD-558092, 19 Oct 2017Wired is higher quality. It's also less battery-hungry. I h... moreAnd the reason why is because wired have a much more diverse technology than BlueTooth. We have used wired earphones and headphones for a very long time, it may already have some problems that are found in BlueTooth for earphones and headphones fixed by then, and now it is just getting way better and better. Even though BlueTooth for earphones or headphones are new, doesn't mean that it is better. Plus, removing a headphone jack doesn't bring any advantages, it is just removing a thing that is essential. If the headphone jack is there, at least u have a choice of using either one of them; the headphone jack or your very own BlueTooth earphone or headphone. I still can't understand why the heck when one say not having a headphone jack is better, I don't find any better. This is just my opinion, I am fine without headphone jack or with headphone jack, but if they put one headphone jack there at least they give an option between 2 different types of technologies; wired or wireless

Those who whine about headphone jack can't really afford flagship. If u can't buy a 60 dollars wireless earphone, I doubt u can buy any flagship either. I started using wireless headphones from last year and now I can't even think of using wired headphone as it's so convenient.

                            4000 mAh is good.
No 3.5 mm headphone jack is bad.

Bezels will undo HTC. Clearly they can't keep up with trend. Even Chinese manufacturers manage better ratio for their flagships than this.

No headphone jack? Why must companies loke this remove headphone, do we see people blast out music or porno video on the bus or train? Sacrifice headphone jack for the sake of what????

Though the Headphone jack is dead to HTC but one can't deny how great USonic is. It is the good that outweigh the bad.

This is the phone of the year! I dont care the U11 is a fantastic phone and all everyone did was complain that it didnt have the ratio that samsung and LG had. What now ?! (no headphone jack)
