kingjaykay, 24 Oct 2017Well if your phone one table then it's very rare to use it ... moreI put my phone on the table or on stands all the time, and I do have to check notification and interact with the phone not just for notifications but also to check mail and news and play music. Your need to pick up the phone every time to use it don't apply to my need to quickly glance at it and then go back to what I was doing at my desk,

Unnecessary ad hominem attack. Why don't you grow up and realize that the world is a very large place and many people use their phones differently from you. Your attacks only show that you are egocentric and lack worldview. Grow up and join the international society and stop being a self righteous towel head.

Why are people butthurt about a 6 months new update cycle?? Every other phone companies does the same thing. Look at samsung they release something like s8 and s8+ then release note 8 later in the year.

AnonD-691508, 25 Oct 2017Dear Bro... I know how to install the Custom ROM and I'm ok... moreI feel like if you aren't interested in the developer aspect of the phone, there are other phones for you like the samsung galaxy s8 or the Oppo F5

Paul Tan, 24 Oct 2017If you don't plan to pickup the phone, why you unlock it? Because you don't always need to pick up the phone to do simple things... Obviously

robogo, 24 Oct 2017Samsung bought out the whole first batch of 845, which is d... moreI know Samsung did that. But this few months later release on the same processor only with limited bezels with a higher entry price than the 5 seems wasteful. I would have just waited until the 845s were available or went with another flagship chip

AnonD-691508, 26 Oct 2017IMO you have made a right decision. I thought about LG 6 be... moreGood because the phone is getting only one more major update to Oreo and that's it.

Anonymous, 25 Oct 2017I am so happy I haven't bought oneplus 5 and went for samsu... moreIMO you have made a right decision. I thought about LG 6 before OP 3T too, but just backed down because of the price.

By the way, I'm satisfied with my OP 3T and it's a very good phone. I'll use this for next one more year (if it lasts till then ;)).

I am so happy I haven't bought oneplus 5 and went for samsung s7 in BBD sale instead. I got it for 23k which is a steal. And even with compact and ip68 protection. If i have bought op5 for 33k it would've been the biggest mistake of my life that within months op5t is coming. People telling to root and use custom roms are either teens or hard-core developers because professional like me need a secure and stable phone which just works. There are many official apps like banking, ticket booking which won't work on rooted mobiles and they greatly reduce your phones security. Samsung flagships come with my knox which is now known as secure folder is an exceptional feature. It completely encrypts your data and apps not just locks it like 3rd party apps. Samsung pay is very very useful for multiple card user like me. Overall I will suggest if you don't need super specs and super fast phone then go for known brands instead of these Chinese phone which are made out of bloods of innocent workers to make them cheaper.

AnonD-691508, 25 Oct 2017Dear Bro... I know how to install the Custom ROM and I'm ok... moreThey should at least offer all models security updates until the end of all 24 month contracts for the lifecycle of the phone on a standard 12 month sales cycle & all consumers should vote for this with their money to force manufacturer's to do it

Ahmed, 25 Oct 2017first of all, you did a great job that you don't stock with... moreDear Bro... I know how to install the Custom ROM and I'm okay with that. But, there are others out there too, who can not install the Custom ROM and are only dependent on the Official update.

One more thing, how much Customer friendly is this decision to stop the official update, just after the launch of OP3T in few months. Don't you feel cheated after buying INR 30K phone, for which you know that you will not get update in coming future.

BTW, if OP has told us about the last update while launching the device or before that, I bet that could be the biggest failure of OP 3T before OP 5. They have lost their potential and goal and now turned into a usual Chinese company which may leave you at any point of time.

I know they will be in the market for a long time as they are baked by BBK Electronics, but shifting to other brand is my own decision.

I had OP1, OP2 and now I have OP3T. They launched the phone in Nov'16 and just after few months (on Aug 14, 2017) they officially announced that the Android O will be the last update. Seriously, this is how you "Mother F***ers" think gonna survive in the market. A BIG NO Oneplus.

Just few more heartfelt words from my end "F U Oneplus". Will never buy OP again and will suggest the same to others. I would rather go with Nokia from the very next time.

In July my local 02 store had a rep from Oneplus promoting the oneplus 5, I was asked if oneplus was likely to bring out a T model at the end of the year and was told definitely not but he mentioned they would just bring out other colours. If the 5t is real I feel my Oneplus 5 will be worthless when I come to sell it.
I've owned the One, Two and 5 if this update is genuine I don't think I'll buy from oneplus again. It feels like the stunts Apple pull.

Should be like note 8, but slightly smaller 5.9 inch display, with narrow curved corners. Oneplus 5T should come with built in stylus pen.
