I think oneplus knows that putting screen upside down has brought nothing but a jelly effect and given them bad name. so they are increasing the screen size and try to push this new phone before they can get their hands on sd845. As I heard samsung has all the first batch of that chip.

Will the fingerprint scanner be upside down "for engineering reasons"? Will they still collect your private data "to provide a better experience"? Will they still cheat in benchmarks "to show what the phone can do", despite the fact it won't enable this power mode outside benchmarks?
