Just like the Nexus 6P. Google don’t make their own phones, so when they go wrong they can’t fix them. My nexus has been a nightmare and after the Oreo update it turns off at anything below 50% charge.

For me these preinstalled useless google apps are the main bloatware. Samsung versions are so much stable and are better designed with clean UI rather than confusing google's UI in their apps.
Samsung email, browser, gallery, samsung pay are so much better than gmail, chrome, photos and most confusing app the android pay.

Thanks manufacturers. These issues are all well-deserved for high end price tags.
I'll go with Sony. Camera distortion is just a software problem that can be fixed through software update or manually fixing it on editing tools.

This is why you should not buy a Google product. Google products, be they software or hardware, are nothing but betas/prototypes full of defects and bugs that will never be fixed. That's why on my Samsung Galaxy S7, I've disabled every Google app that cannot be uninstalled and replaced them with their Samsung app equivalents. Google apps are all buggy and laggy while Samsung apps are all smooth and fluid.

MKBHD did his best to defend pixel 2 but we all know for it's price and hardware issues pixel 2 is not worth it. Just but S8 or iPhone 7 plus and wait for pixel 3. I wouldn't recommend iPhone X coz if someone has that kind of money then what the hell, buy anything you want.

Everyone expects a premium phone to behave as such for a minimum of 2 years but what we are getting here are phones giving problems within a month of release. Google can escape if these are priced at Nexus 5 range but not at iPhone's level of crazy pricing. Seriously Google takeover htc or any hardware manufacturer you want and provide high quality products right out of box or make htc build quality phones for you just like how Apple makes other hardware companies to manufacture as per Apple's set of standards.
