nokia just want to keep its grip on the Asian countries by giving such a powerful phone with very cheap rates... Because nokia knows better that they have lost their ground in all over the world accept Asia "subcontinent" and only Subcontinent (India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, etc) holds most of the mobile users in any other continent.

AnonD-3683, 19 Jun 2011NOKIA has become MAD... They kill Symbian by introducing UN... moreWell
Actually WIndows Phon 7 is FULLY Multitasking OS.
You meybe talking the old WP7 and Mango (WP7.5) has over 500 updated features from the original, including Multitasking and others.
Soo many OS has problems, including android was not capable to install programs in the SD Card until 2.1, so, everything can be updated and upgraded.
By the way, too many people don't care about mutitasking features, even some others make more problems to their phones with multitasing since they don't know how to usit.

NOKIA has become MAD... They kill Symbian by introducing UNDER-SPECCED flagships (esp touch ones)... But now 1GHz/Half_GB_Ram for dumbphones that can NEVER MULTI-TASK...
All due to the M$ TROJAN HORSE in Nokia...

AnonD-5197, 19 Jun 2011I thought Nokia said they'll be using U8500 chips for WP7 l... moreWell I think they will use that cpu, but who nows what more else they will do with the new smartphone? Its supposed but ST-Ericsson is now offering its U8500 dual-core Cortex-A9 based SoC for the new Nokia windows devies.
Maybe next models will have more specs, maybe not. For now Nokia seems to be concerned about get better technology fo their new line of smartphones.
Some leaks even say Nokia can be Quad in the premium devices
But for now here at Latin America people is very excited about this. All are waiting for a new coming of Nokia devices....
So, maybe we will see better devices. Who knows!

Regardless of how many smart phones I've owned over the last few year, there's always been a seires 40 Nokia with me as well. Series 40 handsets excel as basic call-and-message phones and in that field Nokia rules supreme.
