29 October 2017
In the beginning, (nearly) square aspect ratios were common on phone screens, but now they are going wider and wider.

Imperator Neubaticus, 29 Oct 2017I welcome the new aspect ratio with open arms just as i wel... moreQHD is also 16:9. Aspect ratio has nothing todo with screen resolution.

"...the new wider screen format will only get more common."

That's because manufacturers will simply stop producing 16:9 phones, NOT because they actually ASKED us!

I welcome the new aspect ratio with open arms just as i welcomed QHD. People didn't think it was going to be a success but now they're pretty much the standard.

Somewhere near 2 to 3 % phones still use 1:1? Don't think BB passport can make this much of the total smartphone sales. Which are those phones? And if it's based upon popularity, even in that case 2 to 3% of total hits would be an overachievement for Passport.
