FM radio, SD card slot, 3.5mm jack... Abschied
Bezels-less vs Bezels-more won! It's OK!! but, why not beside the USB-type C one more USB type c input EXCLUSIVELY to earphones (it has needs to earphones with USB type c plug)

I chose "better audio" and I'll explain my vote...
Take the example of Mi A1, stereo speakers and very loud, but it has small bezels which I don't mind.
My point is, even if there are 1 or 2mm bezels, are they that big of a worry to most of us?
On contrary, if we miss a call of SMS, due to bad Loudspeaker or if you can't hear much in a group, then what?
I'm glad that common sense prevails even today, and most have voted for better audio even if it means 1-2mm bezels (which is a standard now anyways).

I think that we can enjoy the best of both worlds. Why can't manufacturers make a stereo setup like HTC or Huawei did? The mate 10 is in my opinion the most functional design in 2017 so far. 81% screen-to-body ratio, 16:9, small camera bump, front finger print sensor (debatable), and a good stereo setup.
The only thing I would change is to have the same speaker in the front so it can be louder, even if it ment dropping the STB to 78% or 80%. I have a P10 Plus and I can't go to another phome without a stereo setup. You just feel less needy for your headphones by time, and you enjoy YouTube lot more.
If there was a stock Android version of the Mate 10, I'm pretty sure that it'll have a good chance to be in the top 3 smartphones list for most reviewers. I got a chance to play with it a bit today, but only for 10 minutes.

Oli, 29 Oct 2017I prefer stereo speakers but I don't care if there are side... moreYea totally right about the planned obsolescence and it doesn't even stop there. Last thing we need is to be slaves of yet another device that needs recharging, carrying around chargers and cables. Just another aspect of modern life that makes zero sense.

I prefer stereo speakers but I don't care if there are side fired or guided, so for me: bezeless design=more wereable in my pocket with bigger screen + side or guided stereo spekers + jack or two usb-C/adapter that allow charge the battery while listening music. And a no no for bluetooth ear speakers which life is condemned to their battery life and not easily replaceable. Like the today planned obsolescence of cell phones with non removable batteries : /

I have to say that I am very fond of this bezel less trend too and I'll take small bezels over stereo speakers, as many other people I only use the phone speakers whenever in a place alone other than that I always wear headsets phone speakers are of a bad quality most of the times anyway.

What the fook! People that stupid really? Big bezels for better audio? Better audio as in what? Stereo speakers on a mobile phone is still poor if you care and know anything about audio quality! Jeez! All we need is a loud and clear mono speaker if that's the only option for maximum screen to body ratio!

SkyMeow, 29 Oct 2017Of course I would like to have stereo speakers. But I don't... morenot a single device? have you tried speakers of almost all smartphones? you definitely haven't heard Alcatel Idol 4s speaker's sound. they sound 10x better than z5p.

BTW i think Mate 10's implementation is perfect. Small bezels, fingerprint sensor on the front and stereo speakers (Haven't heared them in real life, of course, but if they are at least as decent as Mi max 2's speakers, not much more can be desired).

For me there is not a thing like good quality spekers in the phones... I always need good heaphones for that. So no need besels for that.
I Also like my phones as small as possible so that They Are easy to handle and carry. That means that if there Are less besels, the phone can be smaller and thus way better!
But I really hate beselles phones if and when there is nothing where you can hold on the phone. I don’t need Ghost push button problems because the besels Are too small. I don’t like to see a phone that is too fragile because of too small besels.
That is why I think that there is a balance in there. Besels small enough that it makes phone smaller, but Large enough so that it is easy to hold and handle and durable enough!

I personally prefer fingerprint at the back but I think the least they can do is minimize the bezels but keep some at the bottom for the fingerprint sensor for those who prefer it there. Sammy users who has to deal with the *ehem* great placement on the 8/8+/note could really do with the bezels for their front facing reader. Don't really worry about stereo speakers, 3.5mm Jack is good enough for me though.

Stereo speakers all day. Playing games with no annoying wires. And listening to music on mobile speaker perfectly fine. Even 3.5mm headphone jack removal is not a problem for me.

If some companies are so sure costumers only use earphone/headphone, why dont remove the second speaker?
