There's a flood of reports that this is happening on other handsets as well which makes it an Oreo issue. But I can see the clicks in saying that it's another Pixel 2 XL problem. :-/

Merely hardware problems but try to solve by software by limited some features.
Google should focus on provide better software and faster updated instead making hardware

So what's next? Bootlooping like many of the recent LG phones?
LG should stop making phones and stick to making refrigerators, washing machines, home appliances and feature phones. Google should have stuck with HTC or gone with Huawei or Sony for their Pixel 2 XL phones.

Next time, if Google really wants to manufacture phones other than HTC at a low price, they should also hire Xiaomi and Asus. They may not be popular, but surely they make some high quality products. Even Sony could make world class quality devices too, but they're very underappreciated.

The pixel 2 might be a really good phone, amazing blazing fast updates directly from google.
But all these softwares problems makes a final disappointing device.
For once it's overprices, secondly the software problems it's been having from ticking sounds, screen burn-in and display issues to shipping pixel without an operating systems and now this. i would be so disapointed having a device with so many issues.
I even find oneplus 5 has so maaaany issues from no camera update whatsoever to the long still waiting oreo updates...
I would be so disappointed having a pixel 2, knowing i was a huge nexus 5 fan.
Even back then the nexus had its fair issues, if u trned the flashlight on and the camera app afterwards we couldn't disable the flashlight anymore, appearing as off but the leds were on. Google never fixed it. To the lack of proper LTE connectivity stability we always complained about and the lack of camera updates when the nexus 6 launched.
Be prepared for an announcement of a pixel 3 in a few months, so google can quickly forget about the pixel 2 like oneplus is forgetting the oneplus 5.

pixel xl2 is nothing but a piece of crap. google is full of overconfidence when it comes to hardware. google should reduce the prices of pixel xl 2 so that people wont feel so bad when buying there crap
