Google Pixel 2 photos/videos display major banding with LED lights around

14 November 2017
LEDs do not emit stable lights - they flicker - but most high-end phones do not have issues with this behavior.

lesson learned. if u want stock android, dont buy pixel.

a new day, a new pixel issue

Mike, 14 Nov 2017This is why stock android is terrible. OEMs like Samsung sp... moreIt has nothing to do with being a stock android. Samsung's latest flagships still have the tendency to have performance problems, let's be honest. But what Samsung did better is listening to customers and did their best to solve any sort of problem from their own products. Their commitment to quality by recalling all Galaxy Note 7 devices all around the world for the sake of our safety still leaves me very impressed, and back then I already started to like Samsung.

But back to the story, even LG and Sony could give us near stock experience without issues. It's basically the amount of features that are packed into the phone that bothers the phones down. If Samsung made their skin slightly toned down, it would perform so much better.

And it was Google's fault that they've chose LG to manufacture their phone. This is not to say that LG has weak QC, but pretty much their main devices are much better quality than anything asked by Google for them to make.

TomSeo, 14 Nov 2017It's just the hidden filter lol Looks like this phone camera can only work under the natural sunlight?! Flicker and waver with the presence of any artificial light! Google, are you reading this?

AnonD-39937, 14 Nov 2017Wtf, what's all the hate about Google Pixel 2?! Can someone... moreNear $1000 price tag for a flagship smartphone is not a joke. The quality must be serious, because after all, more expensive devices are supposed to be better quality.

Google basically asked near $1000 for a premium phone that has more issues than a $50 Samsung phone. They can't charge us customers near $1000 for a flagship high end with half-baked hardware and software.
Best camera phone it may be, what good is it when the main camera itself has problems?

Till now total number of issues reported in Pixels are leaps and bounds more than number of Note7's blasted all over the world. No other brand has released more issue prone device than Google. Congrats Google, you just released greatest issue prone smartphone ever.

AnonD-39937, 14 Nov 2017Wtf, what's all the hate about Google Pixel 2?! Can someone... moreThis level of issues don't acceptable even in phones for 300$. For 1000$ prople MUST receive phones with less hardware and software bugs. And google MUST to provide 1000$ quality, especially if they choose such crappy oem as LG. But they did nothing and still fo nothing. If you do your job bad - you'll be fired. Googgle and LG done job even worse so what do you expect for? Rays of love? They worth all they've getting now.

This is why stock android is terrible. OEMs like Samsung spent effort and resources to fix stock android problems in their software but some people mocked them. I hope those people enjoy their stock android LMAO

Everyone expects it to be flawless for at least two years. One or two issues acceptable, but this many? They are proclaiming Pixels camera as a champion of smartphone cameras, so this kind of issues shouldn't come.

Another day another Pixel 2 issue.
Google is on a streak with this one!

Google phones are the buggiest, most flawful Android devices, from the Nexus to the Pixel. These are more like beta/prototype devices to test Android software on, not really consumer electronic products.

Like i said, every single day new bug's and issue's in pixel 2 and iphone x..

So, today what will be the iPhone X new issue? Google Pixel 2 has reported one! They both competing with each other at $1500 a mobile!
