Its as simple as that. Some carriers have tried, but were burnt as Sony offers NO Warranty in USA. Also Sony has a bad history with design faults which the public is also aware of.

Still have it,very good phone,never had a problem and very good camera.
moved back to the XZ1 compact only because the XZ is too big for me.

Please tell me the limitations that Sony has but Blu doesn't. Or Kyocera. Or perhaps any other Samsung or LG, because in US Samsung and LG are only things you will find at the carrier shop if you want Android phones, sometimes HTC or Moto pop up but that's about it. Sony's only limitation in US is lack of marketing dollars. They don't want nothing to do with the carriers.

Sony has virtually no market in USA with phones as people are very aware of Sonys phones limitations and choose better Android brands.
