In my experience, an iphone can give around $25+ per device to the seller, while samsung midranger around $5 and flagship at around $15 and sony flaship/midranger at $10-$15
So basically anyone will choose to promote iphone to consumer since it popular and profitable for seller

I've also used Androids in the past and maybe again in the future. But if I was American I would ONLY buy iPhones to help my country. It's better for the economy of the country, so many jobs for people at Apple. I would never give my money to a phone manufacturer from China, Korea or whatever country if I was American.

So you want Sony to degrade their quality to the same level of Samsung and Chinese brands to make you change your smartphone every year, that is how you are going to be happy and satisfied?! But so many people doesn't afford to buy a smartphone every year so they ignore Samsung and Chinese brands and buy Sony to save money almost twice.....

They know what really happens with different brands in regards to quality, Warrranty, reliability etc etc. Thats why they are directing you to quality brands and not Sony. Its quite simple.

Overall it the XZ has a decent price. Blame the retailers in your country, not Sony. I always have long discussions with them because they keep bombarding me with Sammy bs phones and I always say I'm interested ONLY in Sony phones. They absolutely go insane when I tell them that :))
They just cannot comprehend that there are people out there that would never use a Sammy, crapple or china brands.
