guys who talk about the plastic feel really do surprise me!!
do you guys want to pay money for a fashion accessory ,or for a smartphone loaded with features and specs?
does the feel really matter to you? do metal really feel all that good in hand?
I've tried both ,and my answer is NO
you see I've had a Nokia 5800 for two years now, and it's entirely made of plastic but still to this day it looks like it's brand new ,and I've had absolutely no problems with it's so called "cheap" plastic build.
plus my chunky old plastic-made 5800 feels lighter than the slim C7
why? because metal is damn heavy that's why
also ,the C7 doesn't feel much better in the hand ,in fact it feels slippery and a bit hard to hold when compared to the 5800.
so yes I'd buy a light plasticy Samsung over a heavy metallic HTC any day ,given that the specs are superior of course.

I'm a fan of Samsung
But something's odd here
When Samsung's S.AMOLED display was in war with Apples's Retina,they mentioned that it's not possible for OLED technology to go further than WVGA.
But after only one year they have managed to go as far as 720p!!!!!
That's the fact that bothers me a bit.
If they really have done it,That's great.
But isn't it odd?

noooooooooooo......
Samsung already had their turn in making the 2nd Google phone and to make it fair (after all Android is open source) all manufactures should be allowed to have a go.
HTC - 1st
Samsung - 2nd
And now.... it should either be: LG, Sony Ericsson or Motorola. (just so its fair, that's all)

I am preety much egar to see how this is going to be look like....
as they mentioned Super AMOLED which is a trademark of samsung so surely its going to rock like GSII.

My experience with samsung is not gud. My galaxy pop was dead within 1 week after buying. 1 month went but no response of service center. If google made it samsung then they will lose 1 customer..... :(

by the way, according to my calculation, a 1280x720 screen with 326 ppi will have the same width and only 6.73 mm more height than the current SGS2.
So it can fit into a similar sized phone.

Samsung's build quality is so poor. Hate the cheap plastic feeling. HTC and LG's build quality is far better than Samsung.

Have you ever tried to compare? I tried and can say you that thickness really makes the difference while you don't feel the width difference at all.
