Huawei Honor V10 is a blend of Mate 10 and Mate 10 Pro, cheaper than both

In short, it's a Mate 10 Pro with an LCD screen and a 3.5mm jack.

I think you'll also find having a feature available is not the same as that feature being used. How many do you think use Google Daydream? Or an IR blaster? Extremely few? Yet that's supported on tons of smartphones. Availability =/= Usage.

As for the camera, it lacks OIS and has an f/1.8 aperture. That's not exactly very promising compared to the competition, and a stark downgrade from the Mate 10 camera system.

Seems to have the worst of both phones, not the best.

The camera was the crowning jewel of the Mate 10/Pro, and it's missing that. The OLED screen was another advantage of the Pro, and it's missing that. The water resistance was the third great feature, and it lacks that. The 3.5 mm port is going away, and is not some great feature. Fewer than ever use it.

Huawei is the best company when it comes to software support. Recently Honor 8 pro, Mate 9 were updated to Oreo with treble support. XDA developers were able to port a custom ROM in less than 24 hours with most of the features working unlike in the past where it used to take a few weeks to months. Project treble is change Android support and Huawei is leading the way (cough cough OnePlus). Expect Honor v10 to have atleast 5 years unofficial support.
