Sony's upcoming bezelless flagship has its specs leaked

This will allegedly be the Japanese company's top of the line smartphone to be unveiled at MWC in February.

    All i think is that Sony is not trying to rival any brands... It's bad and good at the same time.

My LG G4 with 16mp f1.8 lens and OIS can take beautiful low light pictures even against the latest and greatest of this year. OIS and wider aperture are the true bottomline here.

          Hope Sony gets right camera sensor this time.. They should use bigger pixels instead of increasing megapixels.

(usually my area. EMEA Gets the Exynos. -_-) but yeah... it's not like Qualcomm is Samsung's little slave. (would say a much worse word .but it's inappropiate) Samsung just bought the first batch. and it appears it's working for them.
            now. Back to sony. Knowing qualcomm is releasing the s845 by march or so. but Sony is releasing this XZ2 by FEBRUARY. they can't use the 845 until a few months later. so what would you do? keep your promise but sacrifice prowess? or break your promise. wait a few months till the true flagship is available and THEN release?

                Don't really care much about bezel less, but if this is what's going to shut the mouth up of the uneducated 'consumers,' I think Sony did the right thing at spoon feeding them.

                I'm mostly excited with the new OIS technology that is far more advanced than any other conventional OIS found mostly on high end smartphones. It has been the main thing that's missing out on their smartphones, and I'm glad to see Sony doing some progress there.
                Maybe this OIS will not cause wobble on videos, and will not require a hard knock on the back just to make the focusing work **ehem ehem Sh!t8 ehem**

                  Sony is late in the bezel less trend?
                  Kindly do some research first. Look at the Xperia ZL of 2013 and find another smartphone with a STB Ratio that is competing against it in the same day of release. Just do it. Later devices like the G2 don't count because they were released later that year.

                        This is what I am waiting for. I hope tgat this rumor is true. Just don't sandwich the frame with glass. Make it all aluminum body except for the screen and antena lines and that will be gorgeous.

                          Also, the leak lists it as a 5.7 inch display which is awesome because that is the limit size of most people's hands and pockets. Going larger like the Xiaomi Mix, only for the sake of going large is not practical to most people.

                          Now, looking at the dimensions, if you hadn't noticed it is tiny. At 149 x 74 x 7.5mm's.
                          This brings the device's Screen to Body ratio to 81.26%.

                          That means its equal to the LG V30 in terms of numbers, but in practice, its much much better than the LG V30 because you won't get Black Bars (letter-boxing) and all content is already optimised. The V30 is a nice squarish device making it better in practice than other curved models like the iPhone X and Galaxy Note8.

                          So if you compare this Sony Xperia XZ2 (H8451), its much more practical in the real-world compared to the likes of Samsung Galaxy S8+.

                              I hope it's 16:9. They also promised they will keep the 3.5mm jack, so they may become a reasonable alternative to the madness the rest are pushing. Two sim slots with a dedicated sd slot is also needed and there's a good chance they'll offer it too since most of their models have it.
