My only problem with Samsung making WP7 is their build quality.
i know it will have a Super display from them but i just favour Nokia when it comes to WP7. also all the problems with the NoDO update were with a Samsung handset.

AnonD-6767, 04 Jul 2011if the smartphone use wp7 or mango then the tablet use wind... moreMaybe even WIndows 8, Microsoft is targeting for new OS incliding WP8 and W8 for desktop and there will be plenty of new gadgets from MS.

And they are already closing Zune for focused on Phone market....this sounds cool..

Anonymous, 04 Jul 2011The snapdragons of today are inferior to Exynos. They still... moreNokia will need to improve their "new to be reeased" Series W, if not, they in fact will be in problems, because HTC, Samsung and LG will release very powerful phones for MANGO.

So this is a good time for Nokia to "renew" the entire Series W phones, since they are betting on this plataform....I hope their phones be cool and innavitve, or Nokia, well, Nokia had to change his mind on Meego.....

Well yesterday I was using a Samsung Focus and works great, in fact is very speedy and cool, browsing was great and the OS feels very light.

No slowdows in any test we do...in fact was more laggy one Samsung Galaxy S1 than this ona....SO I see WP7 is a weel done OS.

I still waiting for personally test "Mango" but with the NoDo Samsung Focus runs great!!!

The snapdragons of today are inferior to Exynos. They still run on the A8 microarchitecture and use some 55nm fabrication process.

But since WP7 is a proprietary feature-phone, it wont need that much processing power :P .

This is also bad news for nokia. A wafer-thin technological marvel from samsung is going to kill all chances the nokia WP7 phones could have. Plus we all know how a SuperAMOLED+ can make anything look better.

And probably a single core with only 800x480 resolution. That will be mid end by autumn(hmm, probably is right now).

Snapdragons are outdated, even in dual core specs. Krait will be better than A9, but Current snapdragon lineup isn't competitive. And that UI that looks like....hmmm, don't like it at all, maybew in a year or 2, but not in its tilish form.

AnonD-5557, 04 Jul 2011wow interesting but i really do think that microsoft really... moreSamsung know WP7 Mango will be some MAJOR update for Microsoft Mobile OS.

Mango edition not will be on "Puny-Crappy phones" they wil launch the OS with all the bells & whistles of phone makers.....they know something maybe we don't.

For now there will be plenty of cool phones for WP7 this will be interestng on a near futuru how market will react with WP7 Mango release..

They can't release Source code since they are like Apple, but y can make cool programs with the FREE programming kit for WP7 OS, if you know C++, Java and others you can make Apps for this one, is not that hard...
