Truth as it is.
Samsung have lot of expenses as a company more than any other company but for what?
Design of curved screen was fail.
Apart from making the phone very expensive and is slippery as hell it have no practical use.
Same for Iris scanner lot of money waste on useless technology.
Hashtag is a free app and protects your phone better than iris scanner where people have slight chance to unlock your ophone especialy in case of twins. Etc.

Somebody, 03 Dec 2017Again no led notification?No edge screen? Just some thing ... moreIm not sure why led notif is even important anymore when an average person check their phone every 30 minutes. We are always near our phone. Your phone can vibrate too you know. It is impposible to miss a call or messages. Besides, the screen lights up when there is incoming messages or other type of notifications. I remember the led notif used to annoyed me when working. It keep on blinking nonstop and i dont want to check the notif. I turn it off in the setting eventually. Kinda kill the idea of having it in the first place.

I hope they won't kill A3 line. These used to be the only good looking compact devices available.
Few days ago there was a poll on en.miui.com "When It Comes to Smartphones,"Bigger is Better"?

The strange thing is that more people want compact phones. Xiaomi this year kills the compact Redmi line. They will make 5.5 inch 18:9 720p devices which will be 155 mm long.
Samsung obviously makes the same.
The only hope is that Apple will release SE2, but perhaps it will be on the price of iphone 8 if it has iphone X design.

who still use ugly screen protectors on their devices? you know gorilla glass 3-5 is scratch proof right? i don't use any from 3/4 years...and still have 0 scratches...on 3 devices and no i dont do any special care with them...the phones are to be used....not the way around....tactil experience and screen visibility is 1000000x better without any glass/plastic on front..not to mention the astectics of it..wasting 500-1000 euros on a phone to ruin the beauty in 2s is just wrong.

Oh man any of A series was a great phones at first look but at second look when you saw the price all realizes that chinese phone for example xiaomi 4x or Mi A1 for half the price is twice as good as were Samsung A3 or A5 models. Where for example MI6 was a flagship with flagship specs for 400 eur same price of Samsung A5 2017 at release date.
So no buy.
Anyway curved screen is really expensive and easy to brake and no screen protector fits very well. And Ip67 or 68 rating is another stupid add - on where any waterproof cover for just 2 from alliexpress could do same tricks for much less.
Lastly to say Samsung means huge Quantity and lack of Quality.
They put fingers to any possible device from shaver or oven into the phones caperas laptops TV Hifi etc. Making everything in huge quantities. Big production which cost big money and therefore everything is overpriced but as their production is big they forgot to care about quality.
In present era chinese phones preforms better and i dont mean only Xiaomi.
