guys symbian really sucks.android and apple are gaining popularity cz they are fresh and are the best. I would rather buy a chinese phone rather than buying nokia. Say no to nokia.

Yes very true ...sometimes some os can work better,most of the biggest fall of market share os till now disappered from list ,samsung growing much better as there bada os also gonna be listed soon in ranking.
Moat of the companies working and making products with andriod but,hardware and battery backup issue is major drawback for those companies
The top rankers must aware about this issue and do best effort to keep them in market for longer period. Iguess technology gonna kill humans brains very soon.

iOS and windows are only OS which are developed over touchscreens here.
Remaining all OS available in both touch and non-touch.

U forgot non-smartphones which nokia rules all over the world.
Smartphones account only like 35% of total mobile phones (roughly).
So roughly only 3 or 4 people out of 10 use smartphones.
I think symbian is best back then though i use iOS now

None of these statistics surprise me. RIM needs to fire it's old farts if they want to maintain a hold on the corporate world. Get some young, culturally and socially diverse managers in there if you want a chance against WP7 in the corporate world.

RIM had their chance to rule the (mobile) world, and they blew it.
Just like Microsoft, who at one time was just about the *only* actual operating system on a phone (palm didn't do calls at the time), and also lost the race being too snobby.
Both RIM and W7 can rest in piece(s).
Symbian's a weird character...first they lead the game, then they're announced dead, and then revived and sold off to accenture, and now at the bottom of the squad.

Hey, add up all the top five will be 97.6% Smartphone. Means left 2.4% for others OS.Symbian is too small and is category under others guess. Beside they haven't launch wp7 how to cat it?

I both LG and Android platfor will gain more shares in upcoming months. Oh! Samsung has Galaxy S II too. Tough time for Apple. But Nokia and RIM are out of contest i think.

I suugest you download marketplace for desktop and check how many thousands of usefull apps it has for Windows Phone. And i am saying only thousands because having quantity of 20 000 same fart apps on Appstore och Android Market doesn't make it better. Windows Phones 7 apps are quality. Every Windows Phone app has multilayer sliding menus with great information and purpose.
