Think about the size & cpu temp.
here is how much 1 min recording will take space in your phone :
1080p @ 30fps: 130MB
1080p @ 60fps: 200MB
4K @ 30fps: 375MB
i think 4K @ 60fps will take 550 - 600 MB/min. so how much do you think 6k recording will take? 1GB/min? more?
no body is gonna waste his phone space in my opinion, as iphone users can't expand the phone memory.

IT'S TRUE that apple chose to use a 12 MP camera(s) set. but he means the CPU capabilities. CONSIDERING the iPhone had the appropiate camera to shoot 6k.(which is. 19MP camera) it would be able to do that. but at only 30 or 24FPS.
he did NOT mean that with the current camera it's possible to do it. because we all know. it's not. but the CPU is capable with the right components.

And the Note8 for some reason falls a little short of the s8 in video score. How the real life footage compares in actual use though compared to the score and the other two im still not entirely sure of though.

shame!! smartphones maybe smart, but their makers kinda seem otherwise. since when is a glossy fingerprint-prone glass back considered to be better than a matte metal body??
Don't get me wrong, I am a big fan of wireless charging, but I think someone should start working on embedding the charging coil on to a metal back.

As much as you are right about a higher resolution video downscaled to get more FPS is right the issue is its impossible to do with a 12 mp sensor ( 6k video )

More resolution can offer much more flexibility, and as far as I know, if a camera could take a video at such resolution and frame rate, then it could also take a higher resoution video but half the frame rate, which is the same way the 4K@60fps capability of the iPhone X gives it the capability to also record higher 6K videos but at half or less than half of the frame rate at either 30 or 24fps.
The Pixel video recording beating the iPhone X lies down to how each videos are processed, but the iPhone X still leads the pack of having much more resolution to play with.
And I don't smoke, never will I do so in my entire existence.

We where told where i work ( i work only business to business ) we ordered load of them because we where told they would be back order for a long time ( like april 2018 lol )
Well funny we are full of iphone X and they are not selling...
1 iphone X sell for 3 iphone 8 or 8 plus for 20 iphone 7 or 7 plus for 50 iphone SE and 6S lol
