TechLover1, 07 Dec 2017Okay, in a way, the sooner the better (I'm definitely patie... moreI like the sound of this. However, I doubt it. Samsung's taking cues from the new-Apple and making incremental pointless upgrades.

I also hope that the S9 releases as a trio:
    S9 (5.8in medium flagship)
    S9+ (6.2in large premium)
    S9R (5.8in large rugged)

Basically, the "Active" is trademark of AT&T so I hope Samsung brings that same handset but call it the Galaxy S9 Rugged instead, and release it at the start of the year, rather than at the end. There's an immense market for this, especially outside of the USA and especially outside of AT&T customers.

Okay, in a way, the sooner the better (I'm definitely patiently waiting for it). But on the other hand, it will be better/wiser to wait a bit longer until February or even March, etc., but to finally have a much better polished (software&hardware) device/flagship. Considering that Samsung has some things (lacks&flaws) to improve/correct from the S8 (duo&Note) for the S9.

Among other things, starting from the fingerprint, hopefully it will feature a in-display-fingerprint scanner, and not just an ordinary fingerprint reader that even the most budget Chinese phones has. Moreover, there is the long long awaited sound, hopefully this time Samsung will include a true decent audio, hopefully a dual stereo speakers (plus all the enhancements...).

Also, the QC4+ from the very old (mostly 4 a flagship) QC2, and a Samsung's equal to it for the Exynos version. Then, there is the Bixby button, Samsung in somehow must satisfy the/ their customers OR leave just Google Assistant to take over. Apart from quite obvious specs such as the SD845, etc., & plus other things (upgrades/improvements), such as a bigger battery and much more. So let's wait and hope.

Interesting... it may mean some part if its development has met with issues that require more time to solve.

Or perhaps they never intended to have it ready in January in the first place. ¯\_('_' )_/¯
