Someone just tell me are samsung phones durable? I mean do they work nicely for 3 to 4 years? And do they have good battery backup? Do they have music quality like SE? No hard feelings. Im just asking because i've never used samsung. Someone please tell.

What the article means, is for those who can't think :
600$ for a single core smartphone is a bit expensive in 2011.
Dual core are set at same price (or even less) if you haven't noticed.
Then about those battery Iphone 4 best thing...
Iphone 4 = max running frequency = 800Mhz + single threaded architecture.
Now do the maths for other smartphones / OS.
You can still compare with "Battery n°1 = Nokia 3310" or whatever
with your minds, kids.

In it's review of Galaxy 2 based on the criterias of performance judged, Arena stated that Galaxy 2 is the best! It was a proffesional opinion presented by a profile site. But that's not just Arena's opinion! Most profile sites in their reviews have declared Galaxy 2 the winner! So...there is an almoast unanymous opinion among the experts in this field that SG2 is the best! Having said that...can enyone accuse ALL the profile sites of beeing bias???

He hasn't used the words "buy...purchase" the SG2 so he can't be blaimed for enything! The word "wait" is not an encouragement for enyone to buy Galaxy...! It's simply a fact because the Galaxy 2 has not been released yet in the US! In it's reviews of phones Arena is always showing alternatives to the particular model taking into account aspects like looks,performance and price! This was also the case here. Arena just presented an alternative to Xperia Arc so the consumer can have more alternatives at his disposal before making a decision!

sony ericsson device is too much pricey :( in our country sony arc price is 666$ to 639$ :( it is to much pricey . even samsung galaxy sII price is 665$ :-) and i checked samsung galaxy SL 4gb price is 333$ :-) really no one can beat samsung in price :-)

This phone can't even make VIDEO CALLS . SAMSUNG S2 can do not only Video chat but video calls too.

gsmarena samsungarena...shame on you !!! you people don t know what quality is ..you primitives ( gsmarena moderators and reviewers ) don t know what good stuff really is ...let me tell you this gsmarena ..since someone is going to read this even if it won t be posted ..first of all..if apple wouldn t of invented the iphone ..there would t be android right now ...besides that ...if you take android out of the picture you take out of the picture samsung , motorola , SE , LG , Acer , and all who can produce a little bit of a hardware but lack on software power...not to mention that android laggs a lot ..has poor battery management and the apps crush a lot even on your precious SG2. And the quality materials simply suck on samsung and the rest of the manufacurers phones ..chep plastic ..laggy and buggy os ...and a lot of other things that proves that you have no idea of what quality is all abut !!!

Impossible never this old technology can be compare to GS2.
Not even 1 SE device can stand againt the GS2.
You don't believe then give us a link in 2011 were any SE device is the best phone.

If I troll a Samsung post, I always get banned for a day or two day but when gsmarena post a flamebait article like the patent war between Apple and Samsung, it's ok to say trash talk Apple without getting banned.
The moderators and authors on this site are biased. The mods are like onion skinned kids and are ban-happy.
Having said that, I would most likely get banned again for saying all these.
Anyway, I want to say that the Arc is a beauty. It's like the sexy and cute blue eyed, blonde girl next door while the SGS2 is more like a lady body builder with muscles everywhere. Big, strong, but not pleasing to the eyes. LOL XD
