For the chinese people who used apple macbooks that only features USB-C ports and they also own USB-C chargers.. You are behind the curve.. NOKIA is already looking to the future.. USB-C will replace USB-A and micro USB.. Just NOT 3.5mm jack

          5.5" LG panel??? Lol! No effing way....

            Waste of space and time, outdated 835 chipset just on the horizon of next gen flagships with new exynos and SD 845, second OLED from LG. It will not be cheap and so much on a stake, sound like a failure to me, S9 will, G7, P11 will slaughter it

              Two front cameras - interesting according to the latest updates

                Yann, 20 Dec 2017Not only that i had N8, but also N70 before it, 6600 before... moreHaving camera humps are "obvious faults" now? If you want a good camera, the laws of physics prevents you from making it 7.5 mm thin. However, thin devices sell far better than thicker devices. The solution? Make a thin device with a camera hump.

                The removal of the 3.5 mm port is an Apple and Google copy? You mean a Motorola copy? Or HTC copy, maybe? A Xiaomi copy? The 3.5 mm port is being phased out. Get over it.

                And you call the OZO implementation bad? Then how come it has the lowest noise, and incredible recording quality, outmatching all other options in the market? You're just trying to find fault where there is none.

                And yes, HMD certainly need to work on their camera software with Zeiss. But given how all other companies except Google are struggling with computational photography, and all companies including Google are struggling with functional multi-sensor cameras, I think we can give them a break to figure it out. They've been in the market for a year. It's going to take some time to polish everything.

                  Kido, are you blind to defend obvious faults in the design and technology of HMD/Nokia/?
                  No 3.5mm headphone jack - fashion copy from Apple and Google;
                  Ugly camera hump like iPhone 7,8 Plus - again copying Apple;
                  Curved screen like Galaxy Edge - copying Samsung;
                  Crappy implementation of OZO sound, when video recording is midrange at best. Bothie unfinished, uninspiring and crappy - like Live photos, widely implemented from Lumia phones, but perfected by Apple - again releasing technology without to polish it.
                  That is not old NOKIA company - for example - till Damian Dunning was chief of camera department in the company, NOKIA was leading everyone in smartphone cameras. Now.... pitty to say even...

                    5 mp selfie? 835? With a small screen and battery for their supposed flagship? The trend is a bigger screen retaining a compact size with less bezzels. I wonder how much they'll ask for that. 850-950? ho ho ho....

                          "Nokia Morph was a concept by the way..." - all functions and new tech was once concepts.

                            Yann, 20 Dec 2017Kid, I'm 43 years old and I had more Nokia phones than you ... moreObviously not since you don't even know what devices Nokia made in the past. The Nokia 808 and 1020 aren't the only hump-laden phones from Nokia. Remember the N8? Not to mention the more minor humps on the 1520, which by the way has a similarly rounded design which you say haven't existed before.

                            The first wave of Nokia devices was intended to secure a foothold on the market for HMD. You don't take unnecessary risks with a first batch of devices by including gimmicks and outlandish designs. They went safe, and it paid off in their sales. You say you want innovation in cameras and functions, yet you call camera humps stupid unless its on the 808 or 1020? How are they going to innovate then? How do you know features before a phone is released? You have no idea.

                            As for features on Nokia 8? OZO audio for starters. That audio recording technology is simply astonishing.

                            Nokia Morph was a concept by the way, not a functional prototype. It's like saying "Have you seen Star Trek?".

                              And I seriously doubt they are releasing one with the 3.5 mm port and one without it. Notice how they also have two USB cables registered? Are you thinking one Nokia 9 is with USB-C and one is with micro-USB? Yeah I doubt it.

                                If the Nokia 9 is going to be released a month after the S9, highly likely it'll have the 845. But it'll be released next month though.

                                  Would've brought it 100% if it had a 3.5 mm jack! Great in every other way, its a pity that it skips on the jack.

                                  Dont care if it is a snapdragon 835 instead of 845. Its more than fast enough for every possible use case.

They have access to all Nokia researchers, but not implementing even one.

                                        So another mistake like the LG did with their G6 which was never considered a real competitor to the S8 or U11 because of the chipset of the yesteryear.

                                        Unfortunately I won't buy the "9" just because there will be other choices priced similarily with 2018 chipsets (845 or Exynos). Pity because I very much like Nokia's attraction to pure Android.
