Nice try thoughWell apart from paying directly for sites, the two ways to finance sites are ads or misusing our privacy.
Sure you can find individual people that shell out to display information by the good of their hearts, but frankly I would not like to rely on that as the sole base of the internet... So like it or not things have to be paid somehow by somebody.
The OPTIMAL solution (IMHO) would be if we as users could PAY to the sites NOT get ads shown. Then it would be the choice of each individual if they would prefer directly or indirectly, and each site would get the same as they would with ads.
The way this could practically work would be that the browser should filter all ad request through some kind of ad-hub that either sent an ad or not to our browsers, and if not transferred a micro-payment to the site. (Of course we would have to pay a little extra to finance the ad-hub too). We should then set an individual limit for how much we would pay to see a page, and if the limit would potentially be exceeded then -again by the choice of the user- either reject the page or show it with ads.

Is this for chrome android because they really need to support extensions such night mode because majority of flagships have AMOLED display and Google needs to allow us to use dark theme on chrome app.

I am using iopera and i am satisfied with it.
But Adgurd is a good option if you have the money to pay.
And mo more apps will come your way.
But you need a full version trial is just for a very short time.

... moreWell... There won't be any world without ads. How do you think a company sell their product to the masses without ads? Flyers? Endorsement by public figures? Words from customer to customer? Like it or not, those also many form of ads. You buying physical newspapers? Even those have ads section.
And to be fair. Without ads, there won't be any news agencies since they are largely relying on ads revenue. There won't be any media for you to find and filter any product you might need. Granted, we won't impulsively buy anything presented by ads. But at correct times, when we actually need something and we don't know which product we decided to buy, ads will help us by giving us options to chose from.

Just look how well it goes for those who gets sued by EU - Apple has to pay back 12 billion in taxes - which is just one case out of plenty. :)

They get more money - we get better internet experience. Sounds like a good trade in my eyes.

Opera Mini with its built-in ad-blocker used to be decent, but it has since gone to the dark side and started to display its own full-page ads. Apps developers are paying them for advertising their apps.

AnonD-368020, 20 Dec 2017How to get rid of ads on Android? Anyone? Which is the best... moreIf you are willing to pay I'd recommend Adguard. A $15 USD (roughly I don't remember exactly) once off payment gets you the Android license, a bit more gets you a combined Android Windows license.
That blocks ads in any browser and most apps too, for me it is really effective. I've been using it for a couple of years and I'd never go back. I recently went (temporarily) back to using a phone without it, I had forgotten how crap most websites are....
You can download a trial that from the Play Store which works reasonably well, but the full version needs to be downloaded from their website.
