"Comptetition's ads".
That way Google will play alone on the (veeery lucrative) internet ads' sphere. How monopolistic of them (but it will change none unless some law slams them)

So, in short gsmarena will look more near and clutter free - just the way the ui designer intended.

Of course you can always install firefox and use ublock/adblock plus (I think these are also available for Yandex), but Firefox and Chrome are the worst Android browsers.

"Better Ads" sure. I would still trust a third party ad blocker. there are no acceptable ads especially which are based on the searches that i have made despite i have opt out of personalized ads. i have stopped using YouTube and Facebook App just because of ads.

"it encourages websites to serve more acceptable ads"...
Let's accept it, no ads are acceptable ads. People will always try to move far from things that get on their nerves, like ads. I do not understand how the psychological intrusion can be considered marketing and business. I do not remember one single case in my life that i bought sth because i saw it on an ad.
How would the world be if the ads were prohibited by the law? I think better. Huge amounts of human energy would be redirected to worthier ways of use. So many costs saved, better life, better planet.
