Updated my Desire Z to Gingerbread. HOwever, keyboard now doesn't work at all.
Any advise anyone?

Just got mine today in Britain... FINALLY! They still haven't fixed the long-press button symbols though... they are still showing up with a different symbol than the one printed on the key. Hmph.

WOOOOOO! Gingerbread goodness installed. Been checking for updates for weeks now, and finally here. UK, Unbranded/unlocked Desire Z on T-Mobile network.

No all your data will be save automatically , about 107 mb for new os update, good job HTC for the promise you made, now I feel I have a brand new phone and latest android OS firmware.....cheers!!!

Helo I got new OS from desire Z upgrade ginger bread here in singapore, I believe it rolling out now to other asian country cheers!!!

Any idea when can I expect my Z to be get the gingerbread. I m so desperate. I tried rooting also, but was not successfull, as I had already updated FOTA 1.82, after which I was not able to downgrade to root. I am waiting for gingerbread since march, I don't know , when e r gonna get that

Put up in bangalore.. been wait... moreNewz iz dat the gingerbread update was supposed 2 cum in end of the july..htc officially had announced d update..go on www.htc.com n click on support der u cn see d update newz for desire z and other htc handsets in india..or else go chck d update manually in settings..

Every HTC phone is a combination of a unique HTC hardware and software experience and a core operating system. We only update our phones if it will provide an overall improved user experience as we balance features, performance and usability. HTC devices are country specific. We don’t have any information that when Android 2.3 will be available in India, once ROM will available you can find it from following link: http://www.htc.com/in/support.aspx

Hey all desire z users in india..gingerbread update has been made available by htc...juz go in about phone in settings n then in system updates and click on check now..u wil get it..its an 103 mb software...
