This proves that Apple knows all iPhones really suck because iPhones, and iOS, can not function properly, shut down abruptly..., on only a year old battery!

Apple. They slowed down their phones to save the battery's health. Okay, that's a good point. But keeping it a big secret for a long time and just telling it to us after it has been caught is a considerate crime.
Dishonesty is one of the worst criminal cases in this world, and Apple only deserves the hate that they're getting.
See, if no one has noticed this thing, I'm sure that battery replacements from Apple would still be at $79.

You are trying to tell us not to insult anyone but you do it anyway by assuming we can't afford it or we feel good about ourselves for bashing them? Hypocrite just like Apple by offering $29 replacement for a problem they created.
I used iOS for NINE YEARS and Android for SIX YEARS. Jailbreak or rooted. I had my iPhone X on pre-order until I realized iOS11 is crap for my work flow. Still no location toggle. Harder to tether. Apple Maps is decent but still not as accurate as Google's. There is so much wrong with iOS right now and it doesn't start with Apple's communism beliefs of control and no options or their prison-like sandbox known as their ecosystem.
Don't assume just because we are bashing Apple, we can't afford it. I usually use 3-4 phones at a time that accumulates to $2000+. I would rather have two $500-$900 Android phones than one $1000 iPhone X that can only do half the things Android can do. If many of us can afford houses and cars, we can afford a $1000 phone..
Your assumptions are all wrong. We are not poor. We can afford it. Apple just sucks and hasn't done anything revolutionary in ten years. They are living off Steve Jobs' legacy when Tim Crook lacks any vision. It's iPhone or bust for Apple. They have no real range beyond selling billions of iPhones. They can't even make it themselves like Samsung could and I don't like Samsung.

Whether you think BMW or Apple isn't status symbol, it doesn't matter to me or to you. We don't think they are. BMWs are commuter cheap cars in London. Apple products are like fast food in America thanks to installment plans.

What they are doing is not being transparent about it and not giving us an option to choose to be throttled or not. What most of us Internet nerds do is waste time with useless arguments against strangers and useless info like your post below that I'm wasting 2 minutes of time to reply to.

One way or another, Apple products sell mostly in wealthier countries. Apple makes arguably the best line of phones for many people, who are willing to pay a slight premium for a better product.
Does it make you feel better when you insult others? Do you feel richer, or smarter somehow? Either way, you are obviously unable to buy an iPhone X, so all you have left is insults.

I see Americans working in low wage jobs own an iPhone X. People from McDonald's and Walmart own iPhones. I think iPhones are more like Hondas and Toyotas than representing luxury. Brag they own an iPhone X but head out to KFC or Burger King for lunch.
