iOS may be silky smooth but apple decides all the hardware, and dont forget it does half as much as android, so the CPU is under much less stress

am an android user, used 3 android devices already (htc hero, desire hd, xperia arc)... the os is buggy, phone would freeze for long seconds or stutters, apps forceclose and battery isnt the best thing either... wp7 is an amazing os, now that mango is coming around with great features, am definitely switching ... am pretty sure if microsoft is pushing the os real hard, many more would leave android....

How does this work, if microsoft gets a good chuck of the royalties from Andriod in the end? Kind of curious about this since providers are paying MSFT for its use on their phones.

In the end it looks like all these companies are profiting somewhat from these mobile OS's due to patent cross licensing deals or even hardware technology sharing.

As an Android user this means nothing to me. what i would like to see is google really making the OS work smoothly i am tired of lags. Also it set a standard that phone companies have to give updates at a set time not when they feel like it. Dont keep on releasing stuff in Beta. if OEM are making phones with Dual Core bring out software that really makes this shine and stand out. as yet going a little bit quicker and allowing 1080p recording is not enough. Please sort out the market its a complete mess and i dont mean just making it look pretty make it easy for me to discover and as a major search company if i look for something i dont want 50 apps that dont have anything to do with my search. I like Android i really do but it scrappy and un polished i think counting should go into the how many Force closer signs that each Android user has seen since they have had the handset

i know now i am going to have people telling me their is nothing wrong it and i dont know what i am talking about and i should shut up.
