Anonymous, 01 Jan 2018Haha unbiased fanboy. Samsung said that they are not doing ... moreTheir response was a proper one if you know how things work. They don't have enough sample right now to draw a conclusion. Cut them some slack already, they are not almighty for god's sake. At least they recognized the issue, not brushing off like what usually happens.

Anonymous, 01 Jan 2018Haha unbiased fanboy. Samsung said that they are not doing ... moreThey're not doing anything yey since they still collection info, unlike apple that just dodging the fact until someone give a hard evidence, even then it take them quiete a time to finally admit it and their response? To prevent shut down(that won't happen in the first place if they used bigger batteries from the start) and just 'temporary' battery discount
Paying 1000+ for a phone that will surely to slow down in a year is bad thing, they suppose have battery replacement for free for the first time considering it's price

skyfly, 01 Jan 2018Samsung are not any better, they also try to sell more and ... moreSamsung in my country is the only company with service center in every 10km. It has great Service.

Have Note 8 but never allowed battery level to go down beyond 75% leat beyond 50%. Normally, I do not face battery related performance issues (touch wood) in iPhone or Android mobiles since I keep charging my mobile regularly. Also I don't use them very heavily for media consumption, too many lengthy phone calls, long browsing etc..My Samsung Tab S2 never showing any sign of weekness even after 18 plus months of use.

Samsung are not any better, they also try to sell more and more and have bad customer service.

I previously had a Samsung phone and now I am using a phone from another brand simply because I don't want to stimulate their greediness.
