why need to argue on cpu heat issue as we all know since day 1 of microproccesor being invent having this. Is a normal when thing travel in gigahert frequency in long cycle time create massive heat.As now double core mean increase heat even more. The only thing left is who create better cooling solution or tweak the working method. fact of cpu, use 100% heat 100% . useless stay cool. Who buy smartphone to stay cool is not really using it.

good luck apple with your new ICPh (Icook-phone).....
it will sell alot...there is no phone like yours which you can use it as a phone and as a cooker.....take the pattent immediatelly and search someone to sue....

Dont worry people , next step from Apple is to add some CPU cooling fan inside Iphone5 and the overheating will be solved forever :)
Than the iphone 5 will work like some turbo jat but Steven will say
that is good and if you have some problem with iphone5 turbo jat , just simply ignore it and everything will be ok :))

Don't make me laugh. We are talking about dual-core CPU monster smartphones with crazy hardware specs.
34-36 celcius degrees are normal for powerfull smartphones today.

However, if you overclock it, then it can get pretty hot.
But other than that, it doesn't get that hot.
Note that i'm not saying it's getting hot at all, i'm saying it gets a little hot, but not as extremely hot as you think it is.
The temprature on the CPU was at 34-36 celcius degrees last time i used the phone under gaming. And this was under stock CPU speed.
And 34-36 celcius degrees is not to hot.

Apple isn't running scared at all. Apple's share of the smartphone market, while not as fast as android's, is still GROWING, not shrinking. There are only TWO leaders in the smartphone world. Google and Apple. And since the smartphone market is growing, even a shrinkage of share within the market itself may still mean in increase in total units being sold. Apple is far from "losing" anything.
As for i-brainwashing... that is something dreamed up by those that cannot accept that Apple has created many products that are easy to use. Its mostly dreamed up by people that don't understand that the general consumer base seems to be satisfied with how their devices function.

Get to the lab??? Do you have any idea how many people work for Apple??? They probably have one of the biggest R and D departments on the planet, as well as one of the more aggressive legal teams.
As for the iPhone 5 being beaten already.. you can't beat a product that hasn't been released. The real test is when its actually available. The iPhone 4 already sold well over 30 million. And it still sells well. The true test to being beaten or not is not the specs of a phone... but how well does it sell - AND are the customers happy with the product. Apple's satisfaction rates are the highest in the smartphone business.

You are apparently one of the lucky ones that have not experienced this problem. Much like the iPhone 4 and the many of its users that never experienced any signal degradation.
If they are lies then you would not be able to find results like this:

And you could do the search a few different ways and get different results. But the end result is simply that you WILL find people that have overheating problems. Many phones have a history of overheating.
