Those two are the closest to your preference and both are from 2013. You have an outdated taste buddy. No one make removable battery phone anymore. The closest and latest thing to your preference is C9 Pro from 2016, except it have non removable battery. Phone are evolving. Your dream phone you had in mind should change accordingly to time. Dont be stuck in 2013. Welcome to 2018. Bezel less. Earjack less. Home button less. Removable less battery. Hahaha.

Everyone talks about Apple supposedly inventing the notch but when it comes to "secondary" notification areas that display at the top....LG V10 comes to mind.

Android has lots and lots of manufacturers and lots of models and choices.. Manufacturers make what they want to make and the users will buy whatever they want.. They can try to introduce notches and users can simply reject them and select other models.. Manufacturer don't make choices.. Users do.. Only user selections will become a trend.. Only apple sheep thinks that the manufacturer determines the user's wants or trends.. Because they have been brainwashed to swallow whatever turd apple produces..even the missing Touch ID on iPhone X..LOL

Users just simply have to switch to another option.. Those who bought android without 3.5mm jack are either a) a rare breed of people who don't need 3.5mm jack or b) an apple wannabe who's not enough money to buy the real thing.. The same ring true for iPhonesque design and the same will be true for the notch.. Sure a few of the manufacturers will be imitating just to snatch the money from apple wannabes but the majority trend will move along without ever considering the notch.. Android is about choices.. going Apple means you have to swallow whatever they feed.. Even the missing TouchID on iPhone X LOL

Not the right design?
Debatable. If you mean the sensors going completely underscreen (the screen would dim there when used): agreed.
If you mean revert to having top bezel, strongly disagree. Bezels are a throwback to the past *and* ugly.
I think the notch is a stopgap up until the point we won't need even that. Ie nothing to worry about as things are moving to the right direction there (useless bezels expelled, more screen for the same size)

Yeah, right. Huawei was boasting how the Mate 10 will be better and faster than iPhone 8 and look how that turned out.
