Please give us a stock android option. Then let people download your apps from the app store. IT saves time and money, and allows for faster updates. Imagine that, you make one of the pixel phones.
Imagine LG to just make a phone with stock android, stereo speakers, and sd card slot, and good LCD screen, cheaper then pixel or S9. Will do good with a little marketing, and headphone jack.

They should keep the series and keep up the innovative ideas. Just work more over the quality, the software. Overall are underrated phones, that are however among the best on a lower price.

Stupid decisions after all. You already established your series name, why change and mess things up?

I mean... The G4 has an official Nougat update released on different countries except Western Europe???
LG and Sony I would put both on the same bag, they don´t have a clue on what they´re doing right now

Jimbob, 04 Jan 2018G4, G5, G6 all pretty much flopped, the name didnt have muc... more Although the G4 had horrible software issues, the hardware and specs were amazing. The G4 was also very durable. I used to smash it on display tables 20 times per customer to prove its durability over apple products. The G5 felt and looked like a rush job. Understandably so given the G4. The cool thing about the G5 is that it was modular. The G6 felt "premium: and had awesome specs. There were just so many other devices at that time that looked better and that is what LG needs to work on. Devices having that eye appeal. Too many companies play it safe on colors ways. Give use something that brings energy to the market. Color plays a lot into mood and attraction.

Anonymous, 04 Jan 2018You forgot C series and Galaxy On series XDTrue, but those are unavailable in my country xD
But yeah, Samsung has lots of phones too.
I simply wonder why? Like to give people some kind of diversity? Like to get almoust flagship like camera in exchange for lower specs or oposite?
I believe there's gotta be a reason for this, just I still don't know it.

G4, G5, G6 all pretty much flopped, the name didnt have much to do with it. Calling the G7 something else wont help its still going to flop if its a turd device.

A simple but proper brand name and the launch or release year should suffice. Then again, they will have to conceptualize and stick to their newly created brand name just as Samsung, Sony, Sharp, Google, ZTE, Motorola, Xiaomi, and Apple have stuck with their respective flagship product lines throughout the years. But it is not like a rename would automatically map them on the charts. Besides HTC's Desire and Butterfly line, they did not have a consistent naming scheme for their flagship devices; at some point, they decided to drop the 'One' moniker. Damn Huawei, however, dropped their 'Ascend' label on their P and Mate series, their market sales and popularity are still doing fine

Anonymous, 04 Jan 2018That's nothing compared to Xiaomi's phones. For the number ... moreLMAO why do they have so many phones? xD
Also, Samsung has more line-ups of phones, at first it doesn't look that complicated.
You mainly have J, A, S and Note series.
Then you have A5 2016, A5 2017 and now A5 2018 is coming.
J series is even more complex, you have J7, J7 pro, J7 2017, J7 Prime.
And I'm Samsung fan, I know differences in A series, but J series... I literally have no idea.
So I don't really have clue why any of those companies have that many phones.
