I just bought the E6. And although it has some bugs, I like it a lot. But if Nokia is going to really do a stupid WP7 phone, and just put its brand on it, I’m never going to buy a Nokia again! Not even if it’s Symbia^4!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It’s like they are rather trying to fool people than make good phones!

Eldar loves sturring things up at Nokia,as he a Agent for Samsung an sometimes really gets people very angry with All the Rubbish he comes out with,He even made the Nokia N8 get Delayed as some Fool at Nokia must have gave him a prototype of the N8,Wish Nokia would just ignore all the Rubbish he comes out with,This is just to Plan to get the Nokias First Windows phone Delayed so Samsung can release the Galaxy with Mango on it an out sell the Nokia phone

I'd be taking the word of Nokia's CEO over the word of a Russian hack with a grudge against Nokia!!

The thing is we expected it would be this way, it wont have any better specs than n9 since its the first w7 device maybe called the nokia w7. The sucessors to these out around say q3 2012 will have dual cores and all. The dual core ones i expect qhd screens 1080p rec with 12mp cam, 4 to 4.3inch displays etc. Problem is galaxy s2 has this now!. Im affraid nokia windows deivices are a year away from that.

              what shame??
If samsung can bring galaxy s2 with windows, then why not nokia. N9 is a great hardware. Hope to see better products this year from nokia.
And microsoft should do some serious work rather than paying other cos to sell its boring software.
It should be shame on microsoft.

Oh GSMArena, please. Don't quote Eldar Murtazin. You can do better than that. He should be the last person you would want to believe when it comes to Nokia. He has nothing but bad words to say about Nokia. Every other tech sites were praising the Nokia N9 while he's the only one left with the harshest and most negative words to say about it. He's a persona non grata by Nokia hence his bitterness towards the company. But I kinda agree with this article, not with Eldar though. Windows Phone is bound to fail. Almost every Nokia and Symbian fanboy strike this OS as repulsive.

Congratulations Nokia! Eldar Murtazin have been right many times even if his tone is often very harsh. Nokia will be in good company with Samsung, HTC and several others but no different. Just another vanilla Microsoft client. Samsung and HTC will now get Ovi maps hacked version for free, good work Nokia!

Really gsmarena?!!! An eldar OPINION and SPECULATION is a frontpage news?!!!! LOL. He is a known nokia hater. He knows nothing and all he does is guess. There is a 50%-50% chance of it being true. That's it.

All of Nokia's phones are rubbish. They have only started to make there phones have 1gz core when everyone else is duel core. The X7, E7 and N8 are really bad. Only phone that is good is the E6. The rest need to up the processors, ram, battery web browser and add more internal storage.

I believe that it will sell well because a)it's a nokia touchscreen smartphone and some people only want nokia's and b)nokia is giving up on symbian and focusing solely on WP7 in both hardware and marketing

I think that now only Microsoft with their money can bring back NOKIA to the stage.

Well, I hope this don't piss of Microsoft, since if the phone is not cool enogh this will be he first and last attempt for Nokia to be in WP7 Market.

I hope this will be wrong but if not, Nokias future depends on it.

But I will not buy a phone that don't breng some good specs, since this will not be the "hero phone" all we expect.

nokia spent many many months in introducing only 1 WP7 device....and i am sure there will be plenty of new innovations...

Eldar Murtazin's opinions, even though usually based on well-placed sources, always need to be taken with a pinch of salt... a pinch often big enough to give anyone hypertension. He has been known to be extremely biased, first against Siemens, then against SonyEricsson, now apparently against Nokia.

I'm not saying he's completely wrong, just that I don't believe (and I'm not much of a big Nokia fan) that Nokia would make such a blunder of launching something exactly like the many WP7 phones already on the market for a considerable time.

Eldar said like a month ago that the Sea Ray will be buttonless, yet we saw capacitive buttons in the video earlier today, so I'm sure Eldar has no idea what he's talking about

I would imagine that part of the deal to get Nokia to choose WP7 is that they make Ovi Maps available for the platform as a whole, not just their own phones.
In which case, the software wouldn't be any different to any of the rest of the WP7 handsets on the market.

Anyway, even if it is Nokia-exclusive, it's just one app - the 'software differences' comment clearly relates to the OS and the fabled customisation that Nokia has free-rein to undertake.
