Sun Down, 20 Jul 2011Nokia didn't put in their plans that a bulk of the consumer... moreDon't we all want speed and freedom? Let me ask something.. what does Nokia provide with its vintage OS that android does not? To be honest, I have nothing against Nokia. Its just that they are putting so much effort to regain themselves that its almost ridiculous. People buy phones depending on their own interest. I am happy using my android with the latest 2.3.4 update. So far I have had no problems and am looking forward to what android has to offer next.

This does not surprise at the least, Nokias main job right now is to get out WP7 phones at all cost, not wait to innovate... that comes a bit later.

[deleted post]@ Laurynas :)
i clearly know, i repeat i clearly know the ARM cortex a9 architecture is the same in raw form, but what u clearly and bluntly said is that sgs2 and lg optimus 2x have the same cpu which i disagree with, if u have said sgs2 and optimus 2x have the same cpu in raw form before being modified by samsung and nvidia and are the same at the point of purchase from ARM then i would agree !! So u were not clear with ur question, this is not like this laptop has i7 and another laptop has i7 its not the same example, in phones its different.
If so why didnt LG buy the cpu from ARM themselves why did they buy it from nvidia ? Wen u buy the cpu in raw form it has to be programmed and thats what each of samsung and nvidia did thats why they have different names, because each one claimed his own work and modification and thats why my friend they are different !
Your question was wrong ! And u took my answer for a different question, u clearly FAIL in understanding how things work in the phone department, and u still didnt tell me what sudo stands for which clearly shows that ur no programmer.
And i was sleeping thats why my reply took a while. Im interested in what u will say next, seriously.

[deleted post]Google navigation does not work outside USA. What are we supposed to do, virtually move to USA? Also everybody doesn't have a data plan suitable for Google maps and sometimes you even need it where there is no coverage.

Rather than producing so many phones and focusing on each audience specifically, why not porduce a phone that includes all? What's the point of producing expensive hardware when the software is so cheap and unappealing? Nokia is only successful in third-world countries due to the fact that its phones are from cheap labor and any price would be a win. Like they say, everything thing will reach its peak at one point then fall. Seems like its over for Nokia. Lack of innovation, never changes.

[deleted post]Once again with the trolling, My friend I have used HTC Magic, Samsung Galaxy S and S II as well as Nexus S. I have nothing against Android, my point is that there is no need for you to waste your time here writing about something that obviously doesn't concern you, if you don't like something you simply stay away from it. I like where WP7 phone is going, there are only a few hand full of WP7, I do hate the limitation they have as well as the restrictions but every OS has it's pros and cons and I do hope that Nokia does remove some of those limitations.
As for your navigation, please correct me if I'm wrong but doesn't your phone with or without the need of A-GPS have download the maps as you go? for someone as myself, I stated in my previous comment I'm a heavy GPS Navigation user due to my life style and career, and if I am to use the date on nearly daily bases then forget about my monthly pay!
You like what you like, and I know what each phone is capable of as I do look and try these phones before I make any comments.
That is all.

:), 20 Jul 2011Lets not be biased here. I did not discriminate Nokia in an... moreHmmm,
you might want to do a little bit research before stating such false claims! HTC didn't make it to the top so easily, they have been there long before the iPhone came along. The thing that might confuse you here, is, that HTC didn't manufacture under their own label but they produced the IPAQ line for HP as well as devices for Samsung, Sony Ericsson and a whole lot more. For example, research the manufacturers for the older Windows Mobile PDAs and Windows Mobile phones - it seems like nothing hasn't be made by HTC ... !
Still,
I think this has nothing to do with the article itself! I, for one, am looking forward to the new Nokia WP7 devices. Don't judge a book by it's cover and be smart and wait until real information come along (not equal to rumors!!!). I wish GSM Arena wouldn't publish such nonsense since it doesn't add any value but reduces their site to gossip!

:), 20 Jul 2011Don't we all want speed and freedom? Let me ask something..... moreOnce again, it seems like you are hating on Nokia, if you do your research you will see that Nokia provides it's consumers with all the essential apps out of the box. Nokia gives you free Navigation that Android doesn't ( well technical it does but what if you lose reception you get lost), it gives you a simple and easy to use OS. Something about Android that I personally don't like is the many different types of launchers that confuses it's consumers. I have in my N8 a brilliant camera which Nokia with the help of Symbian offers, I see that the UI is still simple and easy to use yet people keep on complaining that it's out dated. It's not about what the OS mainly offers it's about your needs but it's clear that you are not here because you like or dislike WP7, you are here to show your disgrace for Nokia and it's attempt with the WP7. You have to understand that there are different markets with different needs and this is what Nokia is good at, S40 for third world countries, Symbian for mid-end markets and Meego/WP7 for high end phone and high end markets. Look at the recently released Nokia phones, N8 for entertainment, E6 for serious business people, E7 for emailing and business people with a brilliant screen, X& for gaming and the younger generation, the C7 for mostly females and people who like small compact phones, the C6-01 for the people who can't afford expensive phones but will still get a good package.
Google get's it's users hooked up to the updates and hardly brings any good features, it only makes the OS a little lighter which other OSs have done since day one. You need to do your research once again.

What an amusing article. All Nokia have to do is produce a smartphone with battery life akin to the iphone and maintain their build and signal quality. WP7 already makes I"phone" and android look and feel very dated in my experience.

No innovations .. Thats too bad .. Anyway wp mango is the best and even android cant beat it .. We need a tegra device on wp 7 and a lot of superb apps.. And i think official mango os will be not only on snapdragons but on all the devices better than 1ghz.

:), 20 Jul 2011Lets not be biased here. I did not discriminate Nokia in an... moreno offence to you my friend but it seems like you are basing your comment on false statistics and biased thinking. You are obviously a fan boy for some brand. Look at the statistics yes Nokia is losing market share and this is because their slow production of new phones and slow engineers in making a competing operating system. This doesn't mean symbian, meego, S40 or now windows phone are unstable and will not help Nokia gain some of it's market share. If you really think about it all brands are nothing without android. I admire apple for having their own os as Well as Samsung for having bada (never used it) but it seems like they are working on something of their own. HTC LG Motorola SC and the rest will be nothing in android dies. Even phones are not being referred to by their brand name but being called android phones.
The bottom line is Nokia has built the phone industry with the help of Motorola or vis-versa and they all pay royalties to the both of them. So take your troll somewhere else. :)

It has been said quite a few times that Nokia
Will be releasing a family of WP7 phones so is it
Possible that we could see them all before passing
A judgment that in the most part is speculation.

:), 20 Jul 2011Lets not be biased here. I did not discriminate Nokia in an... moreNokia didn't put in their plans that a bulk of the consumer these days are teens and young adults who prefer a beauitful and easy UI with lot's of entertainment factors and social networking. SN wasn't a problem for Nokia, it's the old UI that made too much hassle for the user despite it's reliability and functionality. When HTC jumped into the Android bandwagon, Android was deemed to be the iOS slayer, which allowed a new company (HTC) to easily get the spotlight.
