I can't be bothered to dig more statistics, but Q1 (which I think isn't "long time ago" since those are still the latest results) Nokia sold 23,4 million phones in Europe. The annual rate is currently over 100 million a year to Europe.
Is that your idea of not selling? Care to dig the numbers for other companies?

Nokia has been surviving using last gen chips because their build & call quality, cameras etc. has always been way above everyone else.
The others couldn't compete against Nokia when everyone was using Symbian and equal HW. Now its pretty much the same again. I would much rather buy Nokia using the same specs as Samsung and I bet there are a LOT of people like me.
Second point of course is that Nokia wants the first phone out as fast as possible, so doing very little customization is a smart move. Seems Eldar is trolling as usual.

As if that Eldar knows everything. Being right few times doesn't mean he's always right. I know Nokia's WP7 phones will not be the same as other manufacturer's, but we'll see it.

First of all WP7 mango has many new features and as an OS it is very stable and brings up all the right ingredients for a perfect OS, best amount of hardware buttons with a camera button, market has quality apps, stunning multitasking, best and fastest html 5 browser, very stable OS. Thats software.
For hardware the phone has a perfect design for duribilty, style, and feeling comfortable talking on fone with it plus a new type of design were the screen pops right at you, oh ya and unscratchable body stays the same color.
How is this not innovative ????????!!!
Eldar if you can read my post, stop blabbering because we know ur getting paid, u have always been unfair towards Nokia, let ur grudge or getting paid for urself and stop blabbering, look at all phone and see their positive sides also rather than critisizing.
And seriously Gsmarena ur out of topics to post this ?
Perfect hardware + perfect software = Perfection which is an annovation
and if a the OS plays everything perfectly with no single lag, then i really dont care whats the chipset most importantly it doesnt make the phone heat up and swallow its battery.

This is painful to watch - Nokia flailing and flopping as she slowly sinks deeper into irrelevance before going out of business. Nokia is too proud to do what she needs to do, so she goes from Symbian to Maemo to Symbian3 to MeeGo to SymbianAnna to Windows. Hang it up, Nokia. Pride cometh before the fall.

I don't if WP7 can overtake iOS in a short amount of time, but, at this point, I'm pretty certain Nokia's WP7 will outsell any other WP manufacturer. So on the hardware side, Nokia does not fail.
