windows 7 feels like a calm sea and is so huge with support from everywhere and plays games better, even check online for a comparison of operating systems compition done in munich which showed the windows 7 and mac os x are the top OS's but windows 7 won, because of something everybody will dis agree with which is security, let me explain imagine a country being attacked but has a powerful defence system ( windows 7) but even in windows 7 the virus support is way less than before so its harder to get viruses, on the other hand a country which has less attacks but has little to no defence ( mac os x, linux) im talking abt trojans, spyware, and viruses, but where linux is weak, is in hacking, people can hack linux so easily.
And ubuntu, driver support issues, not stable, sound files problems, and just no support in general, even most of the time i tend to manually resolve issues, it can work on old computers but thats because its so light and feels small and limited, not practical and unreliable. Sorry guys i dont hate anything i just tell u about my experience, plus i still have ubuntu on my laptop.

Man just go somewhere else, if ur a programmer tell me what " sudo " stands for, im sure ull check for it online that means ur reply will be late.

Android only uses the Linux Kernel and Meego it's a fully Linux distribution (like in GNU/Linux - the linux kernel and all of the libraries) derrived from debian and moblin.
They all share a hierarchical file system.

And i used a dumb bunch of them which seriously didnt get any better even i say it, iOS is better than android. :) u need some more knwledge how about 20 different programming books, java, c++, html, etc..

WP7 can download ... moreYou know why it can run android apps at the same quality maube even better, because they r both linux and meego kernel is monotholic linux which can be better and more stable than android.
-iOS hybrid linux which is more complex (better than android)
-Android normal linux kernel
-Meego monotholic linux which is even better than android, maybe even better than iOS.
But all are originally linux so porting is easy.
Wp7 kernel is windows ce 7.0
ok linux is linux and not evolving very fast because its open soirce and yeah companies can make it better but cant make the code itself better and might take a long time to get better, where as look at windows it is getting better and better each year, specially now windows will take jump to a better future.
Windows has, windows ce, silverlight, powershell, windows nt, windows server, windows 7 jumping to 8.
But linux is just scattered and is publicizid by media but really it isnt that big.
And all of these are getting upgraded quickly which is stunning which shows in how wonderful wp7 and hw better it will get with mango, this media and posts and people want to destroy windows, bad companies bad deeds, and want to look innocent and good while doing it, hw much i hate them for it.
