Sue, Sue, Sue...normally I would agree, but I,m an owner of a T-Mobile g2x and tmobiles refusal to send me a replacement at lgs request is absurd. The constant reboots have made an incredible phone a 350 dollar paperweight. I say good for the individual who started this suit.

I have both the Arc and SGS2 as well as Sensation and none of their screens bleed nor do they freeze. You seem to be completely missing the point......LG issued a sub standard product and did absolutely NOTHING to resolve it so its only right the buyer seeks recompense!

Sorry went off point there,,this is unfair and needs sorting ,even apple ipod screen cracks were brushed under the carpet till the PERSON on the street spoke up,..It is not a case of sorting things out people use/need/depend on fones and should work..We all know we get the odd crash and bad software but if its hardware its hould be sorted out.If it cant you should all be recompensed for price of fone and any loss of buisness plus a gesture of goodwill say cash amount.

This is the first ive heard about this issue today.

I bought the LG Optimus 3D a few days ago and so far no problems at all. The phone is pretty fast and even the battery, which so many sites complain about, is not that bad either. My HTC Desire is not better although not that powerful. But maybe some reviews are right when they say the 3D is what the 2X should have been from the beginning. Hope LG finds a solution to appease their 2x customers.

I Bought Lg 2X 2 weeks ago. Next day called the local service complaining about
strong headaches n unusual device overheating. They replyied ''dont worry,it's something commom''. So, i had no choice but sent it back loosing 120 euros from the total amount.
The Real issue is this ONE: All the makers MUST test their devices over n over again before coming out.It' s not a matter of money. It's a matter of our Health.I really love Android, but had headaches problem with different devices. Now i have Motorola's Defy and everythig is ok.

While there are a lot if frivolous lawsuits this, while perhaps a little over-the-top, doesn't strike me as one. The problems with the G2x are widespread and while LG has acknowledged the issues and indicated a potential software fix for some of them, that commitment was made months ago with virtually no followup communications. At this point it seems like there hoping those complaints will just fade over time, and the that of some form of punitive measures may be the only thing to motivate them to offer some form of redress our resolution.

As an affected user, I would share your view on the lawsuit if LG were maintaining a responsible flow of communications on the matter, but regrettably they have not.
