It is awful when you get a dud fone and feel for all of you..In the UK we seem to have good policies for example if your fone goes wrong within 28days they just swap for a new one or even offer you a refund..If a fone goes off for 3 repairs you get a new one..It does seen different laws in different countrys..

I dont buy LG becuase video recorder ,fridge and microwave all have failed or had faults before the years up..Microwave burnt out and stunk of TCP,video recorder just kept corrupting and would not play or record, fridge got ultra hot at back. and had to have it repaired

Gas, 20 Jul 2011Consumers have the right to get what they pay for. Bleeding... morewhat u say is true.... the bleeding screen is not what i signed up for! even met with 1 of the technicians in Malaysia and he said that they r aware of the bleeding screen and the lousy loud speaker but they cant do anything about it.... or more precisely, they 'wont' do anything about it! well, nvr thought of suing them but it's good that someone shows these big corporations that we consumers care about what we buy! but i still love my Android experience though next time i'll choose a phone with a better battery life! ^_^

AnonD-13744, 20 Jul 2011All the companies are not the same... Just the Korean compa... moreit's hard to generalize all from any country or region. I have noticed that consumer expectations are much lower on the western shores of the pacific oceans; with "buyer beware" being the operating policy.

As far as quality goes; it seems like features are more important than reliability. Thus an occasional freeze is viewed as acceptable in most consumer computer products. there exist other industries where they build software that is highly reliable. how often do auomotive CPU lock up?, airplanes?, spacecraft? it almost never happens. This is a result of different priorities during the design process. xman

I dodged a bullet on this device. A buddy of mine bought it when it first came out and it's been nothing but problems. Unrivaled power is meaningless is the device won't even work properly. Granted now it's kind of starting to show it's weakness but my Desire-Z I still think that the T-Mobile HTC G2 is one of the best well rounded devices out there. It's not king of the hill, but it's still packing some serious heat and the 2nd gen processor still keeps up with all the older snapdragons that are still out there. The G2X was something I was really looking forward too, but with the new HTC Sensation out now, I'm kind of glad I didn't buy the LG. Then again I was really holding out for the new GalaxyS 2, whenever that devices to show up in the US!

                  hehehe...

No problems with mine. From froyo v2.2 to froyo 2.2.2

No rebooting, no freezing, no screen bleed.

Life will not be good for LG from now on...
If you loose the customers trust you go down...
My god, we, consumers are not always stupid....
This court will be a good shock for the companies...
I will think twice before buying a LG product from now on...
Is it too hard to accept and try to fix the problem honestly...
But honor of a company is '''money''' now....

APPLE were not the CORE of the problem. They where PIPPED to it years ago when GRANNY SMITH (a TART) became a lawyer at a RIPE old age. Since then law suits have BRANCHED out to LEAF no company untouched.
We are all RIPE for the PICKING now as our legal system begins to CRUMBLE.

All the companies are not the same... Just the Korean companies that releases cheap and poor quality controlled products. They deserve to get the sued in this case. You would not want to buy a phone that freezes and shuts down frequently.

all the companies are all the same. not enough beta testing. make a phone sell it to the public. then issue a fix. why beta test it for a few months before release. not hard is it.

Where can we go from GSM Arena to get this kind of real usage informations?
Reader's comments can't be enough (More than 60 pages to browse on the x2 specs entry); forums are full of crazy comments. Why not putting some follow up articles like car magazines do with "long time use" reports ?
